The seven-handed final table kicked off under the watchful eyes of Henry Kilbane and James Dempsey on the partypoker Twitch channel. It did not take too long for the action to ignite.

With blinds at 700,000/1,400,000, Lukovic opened to 3,080,000 with , Bruno Olivieria three-bet all-in for 32,142,182 with , and Lukovic called. The board was kind to Lukovic’s jacks, and Oliveira bowed out.

Sixth-place was determined shortly after Oliveira’s demise. Bruno Dell min-raised to 2,800,000 with , and Thomas De Rooij called from the big blind with . The flop saw both players check. The turn gifted both players a straight, but De Rooij had the lowest of the two. De Rooij led for 3,675,000, and Dell called. De Rooji fired a 9,800,000 bet on the river, only for Dell to raise enough to set De Rooij all-in. The Dutchman called off his 14,725,073 chips after much deliberation and was shown the bad news.

Fifth-place went to Matthew Stumpf who was down to a shade over one big blind when he bust. Dell min-raised to 6,000,000 with , Stumpf pushed all-in for 3,106,005 with , only for Rodrigo Raus to four-bet to 21,000,000 with , and Dell called. Dell check-folded to a 13,500,000 bet on the flop. The turn and river were both treys, and Stumpf was gone.

Phillip Ocvirk was the next casualty at the final table. Lukovic open-shoved from the small blind with , and Ocvirk called off his 15 big blind stack with . A five on the turn locked up the hand for Lukovic and resigned Ocvirk to a fourth-place finish.

Heads-up was set when Ruas busted in third. Lukovic min-raised to 10,000,000 with and quickly called when Ruas three-bet all-in for 13 big blinds with . No help arrived for Ruas as the five community cards ran .

Lukovic held 377,917,653 chips to Dell’s 159,973,907 and it took less than 10-minutes for Lukovic to seal the victory. The final hand saw Lukovic raise to 11,000,000 with , and Dell defend his big blind with . The flop fell, and Dell check-raised a 9,300,000 bet to 27,500,000, which Lukovic called.

Dell fired a 38,500,000 bet on the turn, and Lukovic called. The river completed the board, and Dell met it with a 99,823,907 shove, which Lukovic called. Game over for Dell, but victory and more than $50,000 for Lukovic, the 2021 Grand Prix KO Series Main Event champion.
