The Team partypoker roster has grown stronger with the addition of Louise Butler who joins the stable as a Team Online Pro and a fledgling member of Team partypoker Ladies.
Irish grinder Butler often plays between eight and 12 tables simultaneously during a typical poker tournament session and her system obviously works as is evident by her having more than $305,000 in tracked online winnings.
When playing at partypoker, where she has won almost $28,000, Butler players as “lou045” so keep an eye out for her whenever you hit the Power Series tournaments at partypoker. Butler can brag of winning The Contender for $4,448 and is a Powerfest champion having won the $55 buy-in Powerfest #190 earlier this year for $2,223.
More recently, Butler turned $109 into a Caribbean Poker Party package worth $12,000 during the final satellites into the $10 million guaranteed festival.
Butler learned how to play poker while at university and made the transition to a professional poker player three years ago. Rather than simply specialising in one specific format, Butler regularly plays multi-table tournaments, cash games and sit & go tournaments online, although it seems tournament poker is where her heart lies.
According to PocketFives.com, Butler has almost 3,100 cashes in online tournaments and has managed to emerge victorious in an impressive 157 of those. Butler’s consistency mean she is ranked as the number one Irish female poker player for online tournaments, again according to the PocketFives rankings.
