The ninth numbered events of the KO Series were the huge One Shot, Mini One Shot and Micro One Shot tournaments and they produced some bankroll-boosting prizes for the finalists.

The $1,111 buy-in One Shot had a $300,000 guarantee, which was hit thanks to 283 players buying in before the end of the limited late registration period. The champion of this event, “Van_Vian_Van” got their hands on the largest score of the KO Series so far.

First-place weighed in at $22,509, a prize certainly not to be sniffed at. However, the champion also accumulated $41,644 worth of bounties, taking their total haul to an impressive $64,153! What a way to kick off 2021.

Van_Vian_Van defeated “CaptainA1” heads-up to scoop the lion’s hare of the prize money and the title of champion. Our runner-up banked $22,479 plus $5,172 from the bounty prize pool, making for a profitable couple of days at the office.

We have to give a special mention to “iliiiiya” who busted in third place. Why? Because they sent 15 opponents to the rail during their deep run and saw $13,295 worth of bounty payments hit their account. Only the champion eliminated more foes and won more from this half of the prize pool.
