Day 2 of the $10 million guaranteed KO Series saw another 28 champions crowned and $920,928 of prize money awarded to those finishing in the money places. This takes the total events played up to 57 and a cool $3,570,883 of prize money distributed.

KO Series #07-HR: $100K Gtd 6-Max Smooth attracted 197 entrants who created a $100,962 prize pool that was shared among the top 24 finishers. Among those finishing in the money was Brazil’s Renato “renatonomura” Nomura of Team partypoker who crashed out in ninth place for $1,354 and $1,501 in bounty payments.

Each of the six players at the final table were paid no less than $1,970 plus sizeable bounty payments. “Blackaces93” bust in sixth-place and was followed to the sidelines by “pioMYASS”, “U_Pigeon” and “franthemonster”.

The tournament ended in a heads-up deal between runner-up “BBCgiants” and eventual champion “AlligatorBLUD” which meant both players walked away with five-figure scores when the bounties were taken into account.

BBCgiants sent 14 opponents to the rail during the tournament and banked $10,135 in bounty payments plus $9,131 from their second-place finish, with AlligatorBLUD netting $11,015 plus $8,194 in bounties.

Team partypoker’s Renato “renatonomura” Nomura was the sole orange diamond to make it into the top 132 places of the KO Series #07-H: $100K Gtd 6-Max Smooth. The Brazilian sensation saw his tournament end in 31st place for $207 plus $452 in bounty payments thanks to being responsible for the exits of 12 opponents; it does pay to be aggressive in PKO tournaments.

The player of the hour, however, was “Partyyycular” who navigated their way through the shark infested field of 957 entrants to become the last player standing. This accolade came with an $8,094 prize from the standard prize pool plus an additional $7,721 courtesy of the 13 bounties they claimed.

KO Series #09-HR: $50K Gtd 6-Max Fast

“pioMYASS” took down the KO Series #09-HR: $50K Gtd 6-Max Fast event after finishing fifth in the earlier KO Series #07-HR: $100K Gtd 6-Max Smooth. This victory netted pioMYASS $7,061 plus $6,386 after a heads-up deal with “Tenzor”.

Tenzor saw their partypoker bankroll boosted by a total of $12,169 thanks to the deal with pioMYASS.

pioMYASS sent eight opponents to the showers on their way to victory and now has eliminated 36 players in the events they have played.

What lies in store on Day 3 of the KO Series?

Another $931,500 is guaranteed to be won across 28 KO Series events on Tuesday 5th June. Buy-ins range from a mere $1.10 up to the $1,050 so there is a KO Series tournament for everyone, regardless of their budget and bankroll level.

Don’t forget that satellites are running around the clock that award $22, $55, $109, $215, $530 and $1,050 tournament tickets so you have the chance to win your way into some of the bigger events where huge prizes await.

The $25,000 Leaderboards are in full swing and it is “NHONHOj6” who is in pole position having bust an incredible 110 opponents in the events they have played. The only other player, so far, to eliminate at least 100 opponents is “SoloisticChain” who has 105 scalps to their name.
