Today we have relaunched our MTT schedule with all tournaments falling under either Daily Specials or Annual Series categories, making matters much simpler and tournaments easier to navigate through and find.
We have done away with the Power Series tag and put everything under the banner of Daily Specials. You’ll still be able to play all your favourite MTTs such as the Gladiator and other Bounty Hunter MTTs, and partypoker MILLION, but they now come under the Daily Specials banner.
Daily Specials also covers our High Roller tournaments and other classics including Turbos, Grind, Deepstack, Masters and Phased tournaments.
The Annual Series category is where you’ll find our flagship annual festivals including POWERFEST, Omaha Series, KO Series, Monster Series, and MILLIONS Online.
Plenty of analysis and hard work has gone on behind the scenes as we use your feedback and our experts’ opinions to improve our MTT schedule. We are striving to make partypoker the number one destination for the online poker player by creating MTT structures that allow for earlier finish times without having a detrimental effect on the quality of the tournaments.
Earlier finish times make our tournaments more appealing to recreational players or those of you who have early morning or work commitments. For example, the $1 million guaranteed partypoker MILLION crowned its champion at 03:23 CET this week compared to equivalent tournaments elsewhere that finished close to 10:00 CET.
There is a special promotion coming up during December to help celebrate the MTT schedule relaunch. Details of this promotion will be unveiled soon.
MILLIONS Online In Full Swing
This year’s edition of MILLIONS Online, the first of the new Annual Series of events, boasts of a $20 million guaranteed prize pool for a $10,300 buy-in. Day 1A took place on Sunday 1 December and saw 709 players take to the partypoker tables. Some 115 players made it through to Day 2 at he first attempt with nobody bagging up more chips that “jiggidyigjohn” who finished the night armed with 20,120,995 chips.
Our Day 1A chip leader will win an extra $1 million cash if they go on to be crowned the MILLIONS Online champion thanks to a special promotion revolving around the opening flight.
Others who made it through to Day 2 included Team partypoker’s Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov (14,616,878 chips), Isaac “Ike_Haxton” Haxton (7,918,252), and Joni “JJohuki” Jouhkimainen (2,952,633).
Three more starting flights are available for MILLIONS Online and you can win your way into them for a fraction of the $22 cost by entering our MILLIONS Online Satellites.
These satellites cost $530 Monday through Saturday and then $1,050 on Sunday. Each has between five and 50 seats guaranteed. The $1,050 buy-in satellite at 18:00 CET on December 8th has 50x $10,300 seats guaranteed, that is an incredible $515,000 worth of tickets!
