Dusk Till Dawn played host to the inaugural Grand Prix Poker Tour leg in October and saw 1,015 players pile into the Nottingham-based club for the £250,000 guaranteed spectacular.

It was Benjamin Preece who emerged victorious on that occasion, defeating Paul Romain heads-up to collect £35,000 for his £60+£10 investment, denying Romain a £35,000 bonus for winning the main event with a Golden Chip in his possession; more on those Golden Chips later.

Next on the impressive Grand Prix Poker Tour schedule is a trip to London where it stops at Stamford Bridge. That’s correct, you’ve not read anything wrong, from November 28-29, you could be playing poker for a share of a guaranteed £250,000 at Stamford Bridge.

How to play in the Grand Prix Poker Tour Stamford Bridge Leg

There are multiple ways that you can get involved in the Grand Prix Poker Tour Stamford Bridge leg. The first is by playing an online Stamford Bridge specific Day 1 or Players Choice at partypoker. These cost $109 to buy into – you can use a $109 ticket if you wish – and if you manage to progress to Day 2, you simply head to Stamford Bridge and play the rest of the tournament in the iconic stadium.

If $109 is out of the constraints of your bankroll, why not try to win your way into the $109 buy-in event via one of the many satellites that run around the clock. It is possible to start your quest for Grand Prix Poker Tour glory for as little as $0.01, imagine turning one cent into at least £35,000!

Another route is to head to Aspers Casino at Stratford and play in one of the four Live Day 1s taking place there.

Buy-in to the Aspers live Day 1s also costs £60+£10 and these take place at the following times and dates:

  • 2:00 pm on Saturday 21 November, 2015
  • 2:00pm on Sunday 22 November, 2015
  • 7:00pm on Thursday 26 November, 2015
  • 7:00pm on Friday 27 November, 2015

But wait because there’s more! Those of you who prefer to play a Day 1 at Dusk Till Dawn can head to the Nottingham-based club and try your luck there. Day 1s run at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Saturday 22 November and Sunday 23 November.

Finally, it wouldn’t be called the Stamford Bridge leg if you couldn’t play poker at Stamford Bridge, would it? Head to Stamford Bridge at 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Saturday 28 November to play your Day 1 there. The former Premier League and Champions League winners may be struggling for form so far this season, fingers crossed that you won’t!

Grand Prix Poker Tour Stamford Bridge Side Events

To compliment the Grand Prix Poker Tour Stamford Bridge main event, there is a trio of side events to get stuck into should your plans of following in Preece’s footsteps be dashed.

There is a £1,000+£100 buy-in two-day High Roller taking place. One Day 1 runs online at partypoker at 8:00 pm on Thursday 26 November with a subsequent Day 1 held at Aspers in Stratford at 6:00 pm on Friday 27 November. Play then concludes at noon on Saturday 28 November at Stamford Bridge.
