The partypoker Caribbean Poker Party is rapidly approaching, and in addition to the hundreds of partypoker qualifiers, many of who have won packages for free during the $1 Million Giveaway promotion, a whole host of the world’s best poker talent is also set to descend on picturesque Punta Cana.
One such player is the Polish sensation Dzmitry Urbanovich. It is fair to say Urbanovich has taken the poker world by storm, so much so that he is now one of the most feared and respected live tournament players of his generation, and one with more than $4.9 million in winnings.
Urbanovich first recorded a cash on his Hendon Mob page back in July 2013 when he placed fifth in a tournament in the Czech Republic for the equivalent of $525. From there, Urbanovich’s cashes grew more substantial before he hit the big time in March 2015 by winning the €25,500 High Roller event at EPT Malta for a life-changing €572,300.
While in Malta, Urbanovich also won a €1,100 buy-in event for €35,200 and a €5,200 side event for an additional €110,000.
One month after his profitable Malta trip, Poland’s number one player was the runner-up in a €100,000 Super High Roller at the EPT Grand Final, a result that netted him €1,446,600! Since then, Urbanovich has enjoyed four more six-figure scores, including one for €841,500 and another for €561,900, the latter stemming from him winning EPT Dublin in February 2016.
Urbanovich is excited to play in the partypoker Million tournament at the Caribbean Poker Party, a $2,750 buy-in event that now boasts of a $2 million guaranteed prize pool after we decided to double the original amount.
If Urbanovich doesn’t win that particular tournament, you can bet your bottom dollar that he’ll be going all out to try and triumph in the $5,000 WPT Caribbean Main Event that is running alongside this epic event, and features a $1 million guaranteed prize pool.
You can join the army of partypoker players and Urbanovich in Punta Cana by competing in the $1 Million CPP Giveaway Leaderboard promotion, or via the plethora of satellites that run around the clock starting from as little as $0.01.
