An intense weekend of poker action has seen one of the Grand Prix KO Autumn series reach the business end, the $75,000 guaranteed Opener. Only four Day 1s remain, and they all take place today, October 10, 2022. Do not miss your chance to become the first Grand Prix KO Autumn champion of the series.
Some 1,916 PartyPoker players have bought into the Opener for $33 but only 283 of those starters are through to Day 2, which shuffles up and deals at 20:05 BST on October 10. Those who have navigated their way through their respective Day 1s have now locked in a min-cash for their efforts, in addition to any bounties they have accumulated along the way.

Ireland’s Thomas Walsh is the man to catch going into Day 2. The Irishman fell just short of two million chips, bagging and tagging an impressive 1,995,500 stack. Walsh also netted $82.50 worth of bounties on his way to assuming the position of chip leader, meaning he has more than doubled his initial investment before receiving a payout from the main prize pool; what a fantastic position to find himself in.
Kaue Alapont is Walsh’s nearest rival courtesy of his 1,926,508 stack. Alapont, who hails from Brazil, has $86.24 worth of bounties to his name.
Two of the players that currently occupy a top ten spot have already amassed three figures worth of scalps! Matthew Laird of Canada has $106.87 from the bounty prize pool plus 1.862,334 chips, while Vaseileios Charchantis is $103.12 to the good; he is armed with 1,724,244 chips.
The biggest bounty payment so far belongs to Brazil’s Lucas Corona De Oliveira. He has 1,371,313 chips, enough for 20th place right now, but De Oliveira has banked a cool $135.93 in bounties, meaning he has more than quadrupled his $33 buy-in already.
Final Four Opener Flights Run October 10
Only four more Grand Prix KO Opener flights remain, so time is rapidly running out if you want to become this event’s champion. The flights kick off at 13:05 BST, 15:05 BST, 17:05 BST, and 18:05 BST.
Each flight costs $33 to enter, and for that, you receive 100,000 chips and a shot at the big time. The first two Day 1s have seven-minute blinds; the penultimate flight features five-minute blinds, with the final flight running to a three-minute structure in order to ensure it is finished by the time Day 2 commences at 20:05 BST.
