Can you beat one of the all-time TV gameshow greats at a special event at Baha Mar on Monday, 18 November, 2019?
partypoker LIVE has teamed up with US Jeopardy sensation James Holzhauer to host a very special quiz night open to all players at the Caribbean Poker Party on Monday, 18 November, 2019, the night before he plays the $10,300 Millions World Main Event! James, a keen poker player, is amongst the most recognisable faces on tv in the USA due to his record-breaking run on the hit show and will come to the event fresh from his appearances on Jeopardy’s Tournament of Champions which airs across the USA from 4-15 November.
The event will take place in the partypoker LIVE Garden near the poker room from 8pm at the fantastic Baha-Mar Resort with karaoke during the quiz breaks. The first part of the evening will involve James joining partypoker Chairman Mike Sexton as question masters challenging teams of a maximum of two people. The winners of this first round then go through to a final where they take on quiz legend “Jeopardy James” directly.
A Night of Fun With Holzhauer
Poker Hall of Fame member Sexton said: “Join us for a night of fun with “Jeopardy James” Holzhauer – the greatest quiz game guru of all time! After the reaction to James when he played as my tag team partner at the WSOP in Vegas this year we know that there are lots of poker players out there who would love to take him on. Do they have a chance? We have deliberately added a team element as we suspect nobody will have a chance playing him one-on-one in a quiz competition,” he added.
The day after the quiz night,” Jeopardy James” will be taking part in Day 1A of the $10,300 buy-in partypoker LIVE Caribbean Poker Party Main Event which has a whopping $10 million guarantee! Sexton added, “Make no mistake, James is a great poker player – it will be fascinating to see if how far he can go.”
Holzhauer himself added: “I am sure it will be a fun quiz night. I can hardly wait for the Millions World Main Event. I might not go all-in as much as I did on Jeopardy! would like to thank partypoker LIVE and Mike Sexton for the opportunity.”
