Players who buy into The Big Saturday direct for $215 receive one million chips. The clock is set to 12 minutes throughout the tournament, with late registration remaining open until the end of the 12th level. Should you choose to enter fashionably late during Level 12, your stack would still be the equivalent of 20 big blinds; that is how great this blind structure is.

We are aware that a $215 buy-in is a little on the expensive side for some of our customers, which is why we made The Big Saturday a phased event. You can buy into any phase your bankroll allows, from the $0.01 The Big Saturday Centrolls right up to the $215 The Big Saturday Phase Final.

Our centrolls award 20x $1.10 tickets to the Phase 1 tournaments. Be aware that the centroll winners are automatically registered for the next available Phase 1.

The Big Saturday Final Table Results (June 17)

Superb blind structure and a field containing more than usual recreational players for a $215 buy-in tournament aside, what can you expect from The Big Saturday?

The Big Saturday that ran on June 17 saw 105 players enter the Phase Final with high hopes of becoming a PartyPoker champion. All but 20 of those starters went home empty-handed, although those that did reach the money places locked in at least $432.22 for their efforts.

The prize money increased to $606.93 for everyone at the nine-handed final table, with the fop five finishers helping themselves to a four-figure sum.

“bb3nder” was one of those five players; they collected $1,161. “Gsshsh” finished in fourth place for $1,529, with “eliaselammar” banking $2,120 when their deep run ended abruptly in third.

Heads-up pitted “PkrPjotr” against “KingSuited” in a battle for the largest slice of the $20,704 prize pool. The one-on-one battle went PkrPjotr’s way, and they received $4,675 and the title of champion, leaving KingSuited to wonder what could have been, although their PartyPoker account balance did increase by $3,044. Not bad for a night’s work.

The tournament finishes shortly after 00:15 BST on June 18, so just over six hours from start to finish. We can think of worse ways to spend an Saturday night!
