And then there were two. Yesterday we told you how loudmouth TonyG was back at it again. Back trying to crush everything in his path in his quest for world poker domination.

Well today’s news is he’ll have to up his game quite a bit now that  Antonio “The Magician” Esfandiari has confirmed his spot at the most exclusive poker tournament the world has ever seen. The Premier League VII will feature a $125,000 buy in and will be held at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, from the 20th – 26th November 2013.

We caught up with Esfandiari and asked him for his thoughts about the upcoming Premier League: “Very excited to be playing in the premier league again – even more excited that its in Montreal at the Playground. Love Canada!” Last time around in Premier League VI we saw Esfandiari finish in 3rd and cashing for $150,000!

Making quite the splash

Last time around at the 2012 WPT Montreal Esfandiari clearly made quite the splash hanging out Olympic swimming all-star Michael Phelps as they railed the event. Jonathan Roy won the inaugural $3000+$300 partypoker WPT Montreal and took home CAN$779,710, plus a US$25,500 seat in the 2013 WPT World Championship at Bellagio.

Feel like pulling a vanishing act?

Why not? When the World Poker Tour returns to Montreal from the 29th November – 5th December 2013 you could be there too. Our live event packages are pure magic! And you’ll find qualifiers online now!
