If an offence is aggravated, it means it is more serious by attendant circumstances, such as an aggravated burglary. Partypoker player aggr0vated did plenty of stealing on Sunday night, but thankfully only of the blinds and antes of his opponents and the $27,900 first place prize of our flagship weekly tournament.
This weekend’s $200K Guaranteed Sunday was even more value packed than ever before because although the tournament attracted an impressive 987 entrants, this crowd was not enough to reach the guarantee so partypoker made up the difference and some $16,418 was added to the prize pool to make up the numbers.
As with the vast majority of poker tournaments, the lion’s share of the prize pool goes to those who navigate their way to the final table. This week’s final table lined up as shown in the table below and is where we will recap the action from.

The nine finalists had only completed eighth hands before one of them busted. RyanOKeefe opened the betting with a min-raise to 24,000 from middle position. mehpkr then put in a raise to 62,626 from his seat in the cutoff, only to see rmp1234 push all-in for 448,535 from the button. RyanOKeefe mucked and mehpkr called.
It was somewhat of a cooler hand for mehpkr who showed because he had run into the [AdAs] of remp1234. No help arrived for mehpkr on the board and his tournament ended with a ninth place finish.
Another seven hands played out before NewMan_812 lost his stack and headed for the exits.
NewMan_812 min-raised to 30,000 from early position and the action passed around to M1ghtyducks in the big blind, who moved all-in for 458,218. NewMan_812 called off his 253,631 stack with [AcQd] and immediately saw he was dominated by the [AsKc]. Both players improved their hands on the , but M1ghtyducks’ hand remained best and NewMan_812 busted.
Two hands later, another player lost their stack to leave the final table with only six bodies in seats.
bluffmads started the final table extremely short of chips and did a great job laddering to seventh place. Their tournament ended when the action folded to aggr0vated in the small blind and he raised enough to set bluffmads all-in for his four big blind stack. It was the of aggr0vated versus the of bluffmads and when the five community cards fell it was game over for bluffmads.
After that flurry of exits, it took another 30 hands before sixth place was decided – and what a cooler of a hand it was to send RasAA86 to the rail.
FiveSecRule raised to 40,000 from the hijack seat and RasAA86 called from the button. Both blinds folded and the flop fell , FiveSecRule bet 51,000 into the 122,000 pot and RasAA86 called. The turn was the , FiveecRule bet 141,000 and RasAA86 called. FiveSecRule bet the full 506,000 pot on the river to the set RasAA86 all-in and RasAA86 called, showed for the flush, but was crushed by the of FiveSecRule that had improved to a full house!
Next to go was M1ghtyducks who watched on and saw RyanOKeefe min-raise to 40,000 from under the gun and decided to three-bet to 96,455 from the button with his . Next to act, on the button, was aggr0vated and he raised to 180,000 with . The action folded back to M1ghtyducks and he moved all-in for 603,961 in total, and aggr0vated called.
The queens of aggr0vated stayed best on the board and M1ghtyducks collected fifth place money.
After losing all but two-and-a-half big blinds when his lost to , rmp1234 was the next player to fall by the wayside. He pushed all-in with , RyanOKeefe called from the big blind with and won the race when the five community cards ran .
Three-handed played lasted almost 100 hands and ended with the exit of RyanOKeefe. He raised to 72,000 from the small blind with and aggr0vated responded with a re-raise to 160,000 from the big blind with . RyanOKeefe four-bet to 356,000 and then called whe aggr0vated set him all in for his 1,412317 stack.
A flop reading put aggr0vated in the lead, the {qc] kept him there and when the landed on the river, RyanOKeefe’s tournament ended and heads-up began.
Thanks to that last hand, aggr0vated held a 3,575,651 to 1,359,349 chip lead over FiveSecRule and both players played an excellent one-on-one game that everyone watching from the rail didn’t want to end.
It did end though when aggr0vated raised to 80,000 and FiveSecRule raised to 184,000. Aggr0vated called and the flop came down . FiveSecRule bet 138,000 and aggr0vated called. The fell on the turn, FiveSecRule bet 346,000 and aggr0vated called again. FiveSecRule moved all-in for 1,052,478 on the river and aggr0vated instantly called, showed for trip aces and FiveSecRule revealed . Game over.
