Day 4 of the partypoker LIVE 2017 Caribbean Poker Party was the busiest day yet with the $1,100 MILLIONS Open Day 3, Day 1 of the $25,500 MILLIONS Super High Roller kicking off and the $5,300 MILLIONS Main Event getting underway. Let’s see what went down in Punta Cana on November 20.
MILLIONS Super High Roller
The $25,500 MILLONS Super High Roller attracted a field of 43 entries and these superstars were whittled down to only six players by the time the curtain came down on the day’s action. Leading those six back into battle on November 21 is the partypoker ambassador Sam Trickett.
Trickett returns to action with a stack of 11,000,000 chips and is in pole position to get his hands on the $400,000 first-place prize. Doing so won’t be an easy task because Trickett’s remaining five opponents know their way around the poker table.
Over the course of the day, global stars such as Stephen Chidwick, Seth Davies and Stefan Schillhabel bust from the Super High Roller and were joined on the rail by Team partypoker members Roberto Romanello, Joao Simao, Kristen Bicknell and partypoker advisory panel members Jason Koon and the legendary Fedor Holz.
Only six places were paid in this massive buy-in event with a min-cash being worth $50,000. Each of those six players who return to the fray on November 21 are guaranteed at least this sum because Alex Foxen bust in seventh-place at the close of play.
Foxen lost the majority of his chips when he found himself in a three-way all-in against Trickett and Bryn Kenney. Foxen held , Kenney the

MILLIONS Open

Rainer Kempe in the MILLIONS Open
Day 3 of the MILLIONS Open started with 135 players and ended with a more manageable field of 26. Ninety-five of the returning players walked away with prize money to show for their substantial efforts, meaning the likes of partypoker online pro Louise Butler fell before the money places, but partypoker sponsored pros Kristen Bicknell (84th for $2,500) and Natalia Breviglieri (33rd for $5,500) made it into the money; our Head of Poker Tom Waters also cashed, finishing in 54th place for $4,500.
Each of the returnees has locked up $6,000 so far, but with $200,000 awaiting the champion none of them will want to grab the lower sum. Leading the way going into Day 4 is Greece’s Ioannis Angelou-Konstas with 71,800,000 followed by Germany duo Paul Michaelis (68,100,000) and the extremely talented Rainer Kempe (66,500,000).
Some of the other more notable Day 4 players include Barny Boatman, who has been among the chip leaders throughout the tournament, Kelly Saxby who is making her first Day 4, Spanish star Sergio Aido and Vojtech Ruzicka of the Czech Republic.
