partypoker’s MILLIONS Online tournament returns this Sunday, December 1, 2019.
Running up until Tuesday, December 10th, the flagship annual online event once again carries a $20,000,000 guaranteed prize pool that was debuted last year, with the buy-in raised to $10,300 to bring the MTT in line with all 2019 MILLIONS events – making it the largest online $10K+ buy-in event ever staged.
A host of promotions have run throughout the year to give players of all levels a chance to be a part of history, with $1,000,000 worth of free tickets given out to players in the past month alone for completing various missions.
More recently, partypoker announced a bonus cash prize of $1,000,000 that awaits the Day 1A chip leader should they go on to conquer the entire event outright (with their Day 1A chip stack).*
#TeamMILLIONS Last Longer
In addition, the site’s #TeamMILLIONS last longer campaign promises a 2020 Caribbean Poker Party package for the player that either buys in directly or qualifies through a Mega Satellite or Sunday Final and posts the deepest run in the tournament. Players can buy into any Day 1 to qualify for this promotion, but they must buy in before the start of Day 1A.**
Furthermore, players can claim their share of hundreds of guaranteed seats in the run-up to the event with the launch of the operator’s Mega Satellite program this week, highlighted by two of the biggest satellites ever run by the site. Last year’s MILLIONS Online made history as the single largest online poker tournament ever held, paying out a total $21,835,000 in prize money as it exceeded all expectations in smashing the $20,000,000 guarantee. As mentioned, the event was eventually won by Manuel ‘Sheparentao’ Ruivo for $2,329,943.88, one of four millionaires made, with Pim ‘ForMatherRussia’ de Goede claiming second place worth $2,309,994 following a heads-up deal.
