The United Kingdom’s “Ilijix133” walked away with $64,452 last year when they triumphed in a $300,000 guaranteed six-max POWERFEST event. Now they have a KO Series title under their belt after being the last player standing in the KO Series #32-HR: $75K Gtd Mix-Max event.
A field of 158 turned out for this $75,000 guaranteed event and it was Ilijix133 who excelled. The $6,973 top prize was boosted by $10,844 worth of bounties, including that on the heads of runner-up “z-boooo” of Malta who headed to bed having increased their own bankroll by a total of $8,411.
Both the third and fourth-place finishers, “justkot” and “Ionachenko88” played a solid aggressive game that saw them secure bounty payments of $3,757 and $2,428; only our champion won more from the bounty prize pool.

The KO Series #32-H: $75K Gtd Mix-Max event was another $75,000 guaranteed affair, despite only costing $109 to enter. Some 715 players competed for the lion’s share of the prize pool and it was a Dane who scooped it.
“Bluecollarjr” came out on top to lock up the $5,098 first-place prize which was boosted by $4,111 worth of bounties. Our runner-up, “Crash_desn692” won $5,091 for finishing second plus $290 from the bounty prize pool, showing that you don’t have to stack many opponents if you want to reach a final table, picking the right spots to commit chips and improve your stack also gets the job done.

A cool $50,000 was guaranteed for a $33 buy-in in event KO Series #32-M: $50K Gtd Mix-Max. It was a tournament that saw its final table dominated by players calling Russia home, with four of the six finalists being Russian.
It was a German, however, who walked away with the largest piece of the spoils. “BPotTe6e” defeated “Mo4y_neTYxoB” heads-up for the title. BPotTe6e won a combined $6,674 for their victory with the runner-up netting $3,627.
Russian players also finished in placed third through fifth with Greece’s “pl1717” seeing their tournament end in a sixth-place finish.
