Seventy-five players turned out for the Christmas Freeze #22-HR: $100K Gtd PKO 6-Max Fast event to leave a near $25,000 overlay for the players to enjoy.

It was “VolZoK_” who took full advantage of the extra prize money, finishing on top of the chip counts to bank a $19,081 first-place prize plus $16,607 worth of bounties. The runner-up, “skippyskip5” of Germany, was the only other player to walk away with a five-figure score. The Germany collected $11,895 from the main prize pool and $3,802 from the bounty prize pool.

Fifth-placed “trucker_” of the United Kingdom was busy eliminating opponents on their way to the final table, meaning they banked $4,030 worth of bounties in addition to their $3,812 prize money, the second-most amount of bounties of anyone in the tournament.

Two Maltese partypoker players reached the final table of the Christmas Freeze #20-HR: $100K Gtd PKO 6-Max event and one of them walked away with the title and the lion’s share of the $100,000 prize pool.

The first Malta-based player at the six-handed final table was “TINY44” who netted $2,450 plus $1,279 worth of bounties when they busted in sixth-place. They were followed to the rail by “getting1st”, “- Jackson -” and “Alleasybucks” to leave “Mitrandir88” of Malta and “TR22TR” of Uruguay to lock horns heads-up.

It was the Maltese player who emerged from the one-on-one battle unscatched to collected $14,875 plus $8,736 from the bounty prize pool, resigning TR22TR to the $10,038 runner-up prize, whcih was boosted by $4,93 from the bounty prize pool.

Another big event on Christmas Freeze Day 6 was the $109 buy-in Christmas Freeze #20-H: $100K Gtd PKO 6-Max that saw 699 players take to the partypoker tables.

The six-handed final table had six different nationalities at it, showing that poker truly is a global game. Ukraine’s “Al_Magellar” busted in sixth-place and was joined on the rail by Russia’s “dumokkk”.

Four-handed play ended with the elimination of “pufox” of Chile who was joined as a spectator by “dirsasno” of the Netherlands in third-place. Canada’s “livewhale” and Austria’s “ms131313” then battled heads-up for the title and the only five-figure prize of the event.

Livewhale eventually busted in second-place to secure $8,093 from the main prize pool and $1,292 worth of bounties, leaving ms131313 to scoop $10,583 for their first-place finish plus $6,169 from the bounty prize pool.
