“Partyyycula” was the biggest winner on Christmas Freeze Day 4 courtesy of taking down the Christmas Freeze #14-HR: $100K Gtd PKO Fast event. A field of 98 shared turned out for this $1,050 buy-in affair and the top 16 finishers received prize money, plus any bounty payments they got their hands on.
The tournament attracted some of online poker’s elite players, as you would expect from such a high buy-in event. These included seventh-place finisher “MoNddLeR” and fifth-place finisher “GettinDaize”.
One of online poker’s legendary figure found themselves heads-up against Partyyycula, “Drulitooo”. The Swede would have been most people’s favourite going into heads-up but they fell short and had to make do with $8,582 plus their $4,501 worth of bounties, leaving the champion to bank $12,014 from the main prize pool and $18,151 from the bounty prize pool.
