About Us

1. By playing in one the Qualifying Tournaments at PartyPoker.com you could win your place at the World Series of Poker® 2006 (the “Event”).

2. The Event has a projected first prize of ten million United States Dollars (US $10,000,000) and will take place from July 28th 2006 to August 10th 2006. The Event is owned and staged by Harrah’s and the “World Series of Poker” and “WSOP” are registered trade marks of Harrah’s. No license, affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, is claimed, or should be inferred from the use of these trademarks here. PartyGaming is not affiliated, licensed, by, or otherwise affiliated with Harrah’s, in any way.

3. You agree that by taking part in any of the Qualifying Tournaments you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as the Standard Poker Tournament Rules.

4. To be eligible to take part in a Qualifying Tournament you must:

   1. be 21 years of age or older;

   2. download the PartyPoker Software to your computer; and

   3. successfully complete registration online at www.partypoker.com and deposit a minimum of $50 into your real money account (“Player Account”).

5. The Qualifying Tournament will collectively and singularly mean the

   1. World Series of Poker® Satellite $215 ($215 + $15). For more details on how to qualify for or buy into the World Series of Poker® Satellite $215 click here

      The Prize – Each winner of the World Series of Poker® Satellite $215 will win entry to the Event worth ten thousand United States Dollars (US $10,000) (the “WSOP® Buy-In”) and one thousand United States Dollars (US $1,000) spending money (the “Spending Money”)

   2. World Series of Poker® Gateway $535 ($500 + $35)

      The Prize – The winner of the World Series of Poker® Gateway $535 will win the “World Series of Poker® Package” which shall collectively mean the WSOP® Buy-In and the Spending Money.

      Should less than twenty-two players (22) enter the World Series of Poker® Gateway $535 then a regular payout structure will be used to share the prize pool and no World Series of Poker® Package will be awarded.

   3. World Series of Poker® Gateway $270 ($250 + $20) – Limited to forty-four (44) players. For details of how to qualify for the World Series of Poker® Gateway $270 click here

      The Prize – The winner of the World Series of Poker® Gateway $270 will win the World Series of Poker® Package.

      Should less than forty-four players (44) enter the World Series of Poker® Gateway $270 then a regular payout structure will be used to share the prize pool and no World Series of Poker® Package will be awarded.

   4. World Series of Poker® Freeroll Satellite.

      The Prize – The top twenty (20) players in the World Series of Poker® Freeroll Satellite will win a WSOP® Buy-In to the H.O.R.S.E tournament, the main event or a preliminary event depending on where they are ranked.

      You may only win one (1) seat in the World Series of Poker® Freeroll Satellite per week which you must use on the Saturday following your win. If you fail to take up your seat in this way your place in the World Series of Poker® Freeroll Satellite will expire and you will not be refunded.

      You could also win a two thousand United States Dollars ($2,000) prize through our World Series of Poker® Freeroll Satellite (the “Preliminary Package”).

      The Prize – The winner of the World Series of Poker® Regular Step 5 will win the World Series of Poker® Package.

      The Prize – The winner of the World Series of Poker® Quick Step 5 will win the World Series of Poker® Package.

6. You may enter the Qualifying Tournaments as many times as you wish however:

   1. You may only win a maximum of one WSOP® Buy-In through the World Series of Poker® Freeroll Satellite and you will not be refunded for any additional Prizes that you win;

   2. You may win a maximum of five (5) Preliminary Packages through the World Series of Poker® Freeroll Satellite. Winners will have the value of four (4) Preliminary Packages credited to their Player Account; and

   3. You may win a maximum of five (5) World Series of Poker® Packages through the World Series of Poker® Satellite $215, World Series of Poker® Gateway $535, World Series of Poker® Regular Step 5 and World Series of Poker® Quick Step 5. Winners will have the value of four (4) World Series of Poker® Packages credited to their Player Account.

7. Spending Money will be paid directly into winners Player Accounts.

8. Winners of the Qualifying Tournaments (save and except for players who win the Preliminary Packages) will, provided they agree to wear PartyPoker.com branded clothing for the duration of the Event and sign the Release Form, have their hotel accommodation paid for them by PartyPoker.com. Please ask for any terms and conditions attached to the hotel accommodation before accepting your Prize. For the avoidance of doubt winners will only be entitled to one (1) hotel accommodation package and will not be offered a cash alternative where they win more than one Prize.

9. Strictly no third party entries.

10. In the event that the winner does not contact PartyPoker.com within the prescribed time period PartyPoker.com reserves the right to offer the applicable prize to the next runner-up.

11. Valid photo identification and proof of age will be required to claim any prize. Winners will all be required in to provide other documentation, as required by law or the World Series of Poker® organisers, in order to claim the prize. Any winner whose documentation does not adhere to conform to these requirements will not be able to take up their prize.

12. Winners must accept the Prize as-is. PartyPoker.com reserves the right to replace each Prize with one of similar or greater value. Winners may not sell or transfer their Prize to any third party.

13. Winners are responsible for payment of any applicable tax on any Prize won. Winners will be responsible for arranging and paying for their transportation to the Event, travel insurance and other incidental expenses.

14. Neither the employees of PartyPoker.com or its group or other producers or suppliers of Prizes associated with the Qualifying Tournament, their advertising, printing and publicity agencies, and their immediate family members (i.e. any person residing in the household of the aforementioned people) will be eligible to participate in the Qualifying Tournament.

15. If an ineligible player is deemed a winner and realized after the fact, PartyPoker.com reserves the right to offer the applicable Prize to the next runner-up.

16. By participating in the Qualifying Tournament, you agree to sign if asked, a release form allow PartyPoker.com and its group to use the winner’s names, photograph and relevant personal information for all advertising and publicity purposes throughout the world without further compensation (the “Release Form”).

17. PartyPoker.com reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of this promotion, any Qualifying Tournament, violates these Terms and Conditions, the Terms of Use PartyPoker.com or acts in a disruptive manner

18. We and our group companies may use the information that you provide during the Qualifying Tournament registration process to provide you with information about our products and services. You must inform us if you do not wish to receive such information by emailing privacy@partypoker.com.

19. PartyPoker.com reserves the right to alter, amend or terminate this promotion, or any aspect of it, at any time and without prior notice.

20. Any dispute or situation not covered by these Terms and Conditions will be resolved by PartyPoker.com’s management in a manner it deems to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and/or binding on all entrants.

21. If the Qualifying Tournament can not be executed as planned, including any problems or technical malfunction beyond the control of PartyPoker.com, the PartyPoker.com shall incur no liability and no Prize will be awarded.
