Terms and Conditions
- You agree that by taking part in the PartyPoker.com “Monster” promotion and tournaments (the “Promotion”) you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Tournament Rules, our Disconnection and Cancellation Policy and our Terms and Conditions of Use (collectively the “Rules”).
- To be eligible to take part in the Promotion
you must:
- be eighteen (18) years of age or older, or twenty-one (21) where required; and
- successfully completed registration and deposited a minimum of fifty United States Dollars (US $50) to open a real money player account (“Player Account”)
- The “Tournaments” will comprise the Offline Tournaments and the Online Tournaments which, save for the Qualifiers, are a game of No Limit Texas Hold’em.
- The “Offline Tournaments” will comprise the Monthly Offline TV Events and the Monster Grand Final Offline Tournament. The “Online Tournaments” will comprise of the Qualifiers, the Round 1 Tournaments, the Round 2 Tournaments and the Monster Grand Online Final, which will be identified in the PartyPoker.com lobby area.
- “Qualifiers” will mean those
qualifier tournaments or such other method of entry which enables a Qualifying
Player to go through to the Round 1 Tournaments and which shall comprise:

- MTCT Qualifiers - Details and further terms and conditions can be found by clicking here and

- “Round 1 Tournaments” will
mean the $100,000 Monster Weekly tournaments which will take place every
Saturday at 16:00 ET from August 26, 2006 for thirty-two (32) weeks. Entries to
the Round 1 Tournaments will be capped based on technical limitations. Those
limitations may be increased at any time, without notice. Qualifying Players
and seats are non-transferable. The top two thousand (2,000) ranking Qualifying
Players will go through from the Round 1 Tournaments to the Round 2
Tournaments.
The “Round 1 Tournament Cash Prizes” will mean that the first (1st) to one thousandth (1000th) ranked Qualifying Players of the Round 1 Tournament will share a prize pool of one hundred thousand United States Dollars (US $100,000) as per the payout structure which can be found by clicking here. - “Round 2 Tournaments ” will
mean the $1 Million Monster Monthly tournaments which will take place at 12:30
ET on the last Sunday of every month from September 24, 2006 for eight (8)
months, save for the December Round 2 Tournament which will be held on Tuesday
December 26, 2006. Entries to the Round 2 Tournaments will be capped based on
technical limitations. Those limitations may be increased at any time, without
notice. Qualifying Players and seats are non-transferable. The top one thousand
(1,000) ranking Qualifying Players will go through from the Round 2 Tournaments
to the Monster Grand Online Final.
The “Round 2 Tournament Cash Prizes” will mean that the first (1st) to one thousandth (1000th) ranked Qualifying Players of the Round 2 Tournament will share a prize pool of one million United States Dollars (US $1,000,000) as per the payout structure which can be found by clicking here.
The first (1st) to ninth (9th) ranked Qualifying Players of each Round 2 Tournament (“Monthly Offline Winners”) will, in addition to their Round 2 Tournament Cash Prizes, also each receive a package to the Monthly Offline TV Events which includes their “buy-in” for the Monthly Offline TV Event, flights and accommodation (the “Monthly Offline TV Events Package”).
The “Monthly Offline TV Events” means the eight (8) offline televised tournaments which will take place approximately three (3) weeks after each Round 2 Tournament. Details of the Monthly Offline TV Events can be found by clicking here. - “Monster Grand Online Final”
will mean the Monster Grand Final online tournament which is due to take place
on May 26, 2007. Entries to the Monster Grand Online Final are strictly
limited to eight thousand (8,000) Qualifying Players and seats are
non-transferable. When only Six (6) Qualifying Players are left in the
Monster Grand Online Final (the “Last Six Players”) the
Monster Grand Online Final will be frozen. The amount of chips that each
of the Last Six Players has will be counted, the Last Six Player’s position in
relation to the dealer button will be noted and the level of blinds and amount
of time until the blinds are next raised will be also be noted (the
“Frozen Game Details”). The Last Six Players will go
through from the Monster Grand Online Final to the Monster Grand Final Offline
Tournament.
Due to the accumulative nature of the Promotion the prize pool for the Monster Grand Online Final may change on a daily basis (the “Monster Grand Online Final Cash Prizes”). It is suggested that you regularly visit the PartyPoker.com website for the latest information on the Monster Grand Online Final Cash Prizes.
The Last Six Players will also each receive a package to the Monster Grand Final Offline Tournament which includes their “buy-in” for the Monster Grand Final Offline Tournament, flights, accommodation and spending money (“Monster Grand Final Package”). - “Monster Grand Final Offline Tournament” will mean a continuation of the Monster Grand Online Final, taking place offline between the Last Six Players and which will take place on June 16, 2007 at a venue which is to be confirmed. It is suggested that you regularly visit the PartyPoker.com website for the latest information as to where the Monster Grand Final Offline Tournament is to be held. The Last Six Players will commence the Monster Grand Final Offline Tournament using the Frozen Game Details as the basis for the game and will play a game of No Limit Texas Hold’em. Due to the accumulative nature of the Promotion the prize pool for the Monster Grand Final Offline Tournament (“Final Table Prize Pool”) may change on a daily basis. The Last Six Players will be notified of the Final Table Prize Pool and the payout structure prior to commencement of the Monster Grand Final Offline Tournament.
- The Strictly no third party entries and you may only enter the Tournaments (save for the Qualifiers) once.
- The Round 1 Tournament Cash Prizes, the Round 2 Tournament Cash Prizes and the Monster Grand Online Final Cash Prizes will be paid into the winning Qualifying Player’s Player Accounts.
- Winners of the Monthly Offline Tournament Package and/or Monster Grand Online Final Package should be aware that if any of the Offline Tournaments take place in a country (“Host Country”) where they are below the legal age at which players are allowed to gamble in the Host Country, then the player will not be able to take up their package and it will be forfeited.
- No cash alternative is available for the Monster Grand Final Package and/or the Monthly Offline Tournament Package. Winners must not sell or transfer their Monster Grand Final Package and/or Monthly Offline Tournament Package to any third party.
- The Last Six Players and Monthly Offline Winners will be contacted by PartyPoker.com to the email address or telephone number provided by them when setting up their Player Accounts. In the event that one of the Last Six Players or Monthly Offline Winners does not contact PartyPoker.com within five (5) days of us sending such email or making such telephone call we reserve the right to offer the applicable Monster Grand Final Package or Monthly Offline Tournament Package to the next runner-up.
- Valid photo identification and proof of age may be required to claim any prize. The Last Six Players and Monthly Offline Winners will also be required to provide other documentation as required by law in order to claim the Monster Grand Final Package and/or Monthly Offline Tournament Package. Any Last Six Player or Monthly Offline Winner whose documentation does not adhere or conform to these requirements will not be able to take up their Monster Grand Final Package or Monthly Offline Tournament Package.
- The Last Six Players and Monthly Offline Winners must accept, respectively, the Monster Grand Final Package and Monthly Offline Tournament Package as-is. When claiming their package, winners should (i) request information on any further terms and conditions that may be attached to the Monster Grand Final Package and/or Monthly Offline Tournament Package, particularly in relation to restrictions in flights, accommodation and spending money as applicable; and (ii) inform PartyPoker.com of any special requirements that they may have. PartyPoker.com reserves the right to replace each Monster Grand Final Package and/or Monthly Offline Tournament Package with one of similar or greater value.
- The Last Six Players and Monthly Offline Winners are responsible for payment of any applicable tax, if any, on any Monster Grand Final Package or Monthly Offline Tournament Package won. The Last Six Players and Monthly Offline Winners will be responsible for arranging and paying unless told otherwise, amongst other things, their own transportation costs, travel insurance and other incidental expenses.
- If a non-Qualifying Player is deemed a Last Six Player or Monthly Offline Winner and realized after the fact (or otherwise forfeits their right to take up their Monster Grand Final Package or Monthly Offline Tournament Package under these Terms and Conditions), PartyPoker.com reserves the right to offer the applicable Monster Grand Final Package or Monthly Offline Tournament Package to the next qualifying runner-up.
- Neither the employees of PartyGaming or its group or other producers or suppliers associated with the Promotion, their advertising, printing and publicity agencies, and their immediate family members (i.e. any person residing in the household of the aforementioned people) will be eligible to participate in the Promotion.
- The Last Six Players and Monthly Offline Winners agree to wear PartyPoker.com branded clothing for the duration of the Monthly Offline TV Events and the Monster Grand Final Offline Tournament or any other part of the tournament or Promotion that is recorded for television.
- By participating in the Promotion, you agree to sign if asked, a release form allow PartyPoker.com and its group to use your name, photograph and relevant personal information for all advertising and publicity purposes throughout the world without further compensation.
- We reserve the right to amend the entry process to the Promotion and/or Tournaments including by way of example and without limitation, the right to increase or reduce the number of participants in any of the Tournaments.
- PartyPoker.com reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the Promotion, or violates the Rules.
- We and our group companies may use the information that you provide during the Promotion registration process to provide you with information about our products and services. You must inform us if you do not wish to receive such information by emailing privacy@partypoker.com.
- PartyPoker.com reserves the right to alter, amend or terminate this Promotion, or any aspect of it, at any time and without prior notice. We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions and will notify you of these changes by posting the modified terms on this page. We recommend that you revisit these Terms and Conditions regularly. By your continued participation in the Promotion you acknowledge your acceptance of any such changes.
- Any dispute or situation not covered by the Rules will be resolved by PartyPoker.com’s management in a manner it deems to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and/or binding on all entrants.
- If the Promotion can not be executed as planned, including any problems or technical malfunction beyond the control of PartyPoker.com, PartyPoker.com shall incur no liability and prizes will not be awarded.
