I stumbled into poker about 15 years ago. I was looking for the buffet at an event and ended up in a poker tournament. I lost, obviously, but decided I loved the game.

At first, I thought poker was all about getting good cards. Turns out, it’s really not. I joined an online site, and somehow ended up qualifying for live events.

Once I bust, I’m off exploring the city, snapping photos, and soaking up the local vibe. I play for the love of the game, the buzz of the live scene, and the dream that one day I’ll actually understand GTO. Or pot odds. Maybe both.
