Victor Shuchlieb has done his chances of becoming a MILLIONS Europe champion no harm at all by bagging up the first chip lead of the series.

Shuchlieb turned his 20,000 starting stack into an impressive 212,000 and will go into Day 2 on June 5 full of confidence. Originally from Mexico City, Mexico, Shuchlieb has a shade over $100,000 in live tournament winnings thanks, in part, to cashing in the 2016 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event for $28,356. Shuchlieb’s most recent recorded cash came at the 2019 partypoker Grand Prix Barcelona at this very casino. He fell in 110th that day for a €700 score.
Philipp Kiefel of Germany finished Day 1A of the MILLIONS Europe Open event with 150,000 chips. The German grinder has several cashes in Barcelona and looks odds-on to add another Spanish flag to his Hendon Mob profile.
David Goyer de Sennecourt (110,000), David Pison (109,500), and Alfonso Campos (78,500) were the other trio of Day 1A players who punched their Day 2 tickets at the first attempt.
Dy 1B of this event shuffles up and deals at 13:00 on June 3 with a turbo-structured Day 1C kicking off at 19:00, also on June 3. This is also the date of the Blind Test, a music contest held at the La Taverna Bar which as a jet-ski experience up for grabs; don’t miss that.
The final two flights run at the same times but on June 4, before the final day commences from 13:00 on June 5.
