Do you play in our heads-up cash games? If so, you need to be aware of a few changes that are happening on July 20, including alterations to the rake schedule, and removal of some formats.
We constantly monitor the liquidity of our games and the effect they have on the overall ecology of the site. With that in mind, we are applying the following alterations to our cash games from July 20.
The maximum rake cap is increasing for no-limit and pot-limit heads-up cash games where the blinds are $2.50/$5.00 and above. All other stakes, $0.01/$0.02 to $1/$2 are unaffected by the changes. The table below shows the heads-up cash game rake schedule from July 20.
Heads-Up No Limit and Pot Limit Rake Schedule
|$0.01/$0.02 to $1/$2||2||$0.05 per $1.00 pot||$1.00|
|$2.50/$5.00||2||$0.05 per $1.00 pot||$3.00|
|$5/$10||2||$0.05 per $1.00 pot||$4.00|
|$10/$25||2||$0.05 per $1.00 pot||$6.00|
|$25/$50||2||$0.05 per $1.00 pot||$8.00|
Micro Stakes Heads Up PLO Cash Games Removal
Heads-up pot-limit Omaha cash games with stakes of $0.01/$0.02 to $0.05/$0.10 are being removed. These games struggle with levels of liquidity, which means their removal should not affect many of our players.
Short Deck No-Limit Hold’em Cash Game Changes
July 20 sees the removal of the highest stakes Short Deck No-Limit Hold’em cash games. This is the $10/$20 with a $10 ante level. Again, like the micro stakes Heads-Up PLO games, there is a lack of liquidity in these high-stakes Short Deck games.
As always, your feedback on these changes and on any other subject matter is welcomed.
