Team Online’s Hristivoje Pavlovic excelled on the penultimate day’s action and soared into a commanding lead. Our hero finished with a tournament-leading stack of 56,025,473, which has a staggering 22,257,162 chips more than second-placed Gary Thompson of Ireland. That’s 44 more big blinds more than anyone else before you start reaching for your calculators.

Pavlovic informed his Twitch followers that he’ll be single tabling on September 8 so he can maintain his full focus as he aims to get his hands on this WPT title and the incredible $758,312 that awaits the champion.

Our Team Online star may have a massive lead but there are still some very talented players still in the field who will have a major say in where the title ends up.

Gary Thompson returns in second place and is poised for a final table appearance. The Irishman has almost $1.4 million in online poker tournament winnings and knows his way around a tournament table.

The top 10 at the restart is also the home to two legitimate superstars of the game.

Faraz Jaka returns with 28,505,566 chips, enough for eighth-place right now. Jaka has more than $6.8 million in live poker tournament winnings and an additional $4.3 million from the online poker grind.

You’ll find the name of Darren Elias in the top 10 chip counts too. Elias has won a record four WPT Main Event titles in the live arena and is now gunning for his first WPTWOC. He returns to the action with a very healthy stack and is one to watch when play resumed at 20:05 CEST on September 8.

Also, keep an eye out for the likes of Peter Jetten (26,869,804), Toby Joyce (24,483,870), Russia’s Artem Vezhenkov (12,922,230), and Team partypoker’s Roberto Romanello (9,252,535) who are all vying for the massive top prize.

One man who is guaranteed a fantastic ROI is the United Kingdom’s Naith Hanchard. He won his seat via a value-packed $33 buy-in Monster Stack and is now guaranteed at least $9,850! He returns with 8,455,608 chips, placing him 41st at the restart.
