The $15 million guaranteed POWERFEST series concluded on Sunday 4th February and what a day of poker it was. There were some massive prize pools played for, including two weighing in at more than one million dollars. Team partypoker’s Patrick Leonard banked the biggest score of the night, winning more than $200,000!

Patrick Leonard helped himself to the $207,978 first-place prize of the POWERFEST #46-H: $1M Gtd NLH event, a tournament that attracted some of the best poker players in the world. Leonard was the last surviving member of Team partypoker after Roberto Romanello bowed out in 34th place; with 32 places paid, it was a tough exit for Romanello.

A min-cash in this event was worth $10,608 but Leonard had his eye firmly on the $207,978 top prize. The final three players were all guaranteed a six-figure score, but it was Leonard he banked the biggest prize of the night and the title of POWERFEST champion.

Simao’s performance was excellent but letsgodancing outshone everyone, claimed the title and the $195,720 first-place prize.
