The legendary Phil Hellmuth is to give a poker seminar at the upcoming partypoker LIVE MILLIONS South America festival and the best thing is that it is completely free.
Hellmuth holds the record for the number of World Series of Poker bracelets won with a staggering 15-bracelets, in addition to having amassed more than $22.8 million from live poker tournaments. Known affectionately as “The Poker Brat,” Hellmuth has never played poker in South America and is celebrating a new first for him by hosting an hour-long masterclass in Brazil.
Everyone who is attending the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS South America festival is invited to join Hellmuth on Monday 18th March at 7:00 p.m. at the Belmond Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro where he will share hints, tips and secrets from a career that has spanned more than 30-years.
Hellmuth said, “In my primer class in Brazil, I’m going to show the attendees how to cash in a big tourney like Millions South America. Then we will discuss winning strategies!”

Hellmuth will then compete in the $5 million guaranteed MILLIONS South America Main Event alongside a host of online qualifiers and the likes of Team partypoker’s Joao Simao and Renato Nomura, the latter having won a $12,000 package a couple of weeks ago after investing only $109 in MILLIONS South America satellites.
Four more MILLIONS South America Final: 10x $12K Packages Gtd satellites remain, each taking place on Sunday at 22:00 CET; your last chance to win a $12,000 package is on March 10th. These finals cost $1,050 to enter and for that you receive 500,000 chips and have a chance to join Hellmuth and co in sunny Rio de Janeiro.
If the $1,050 buy-in is out of the constraints of your bankroll, you can win your way into the final via the $109 buy-in Phase 1 satellites. These run every day at 22:00 CET and see you play for 26 levels. Players with chips in front of them at the end of the 26th level progress to the next available final.
It is possible to play in as many Phase 1s as you wish, but you can only take your largest stack through with you to the final; all other stacks are forfeited.
Should you get your hands on a $12,000 package, you will receive:
- $10,300 MILLIONS South America Main Event buy-in
- $1,700 towards travel expenses
The partypoker LIVE MILLIONS South America Main Event can be bought in with using PP LIVE Dollars. As an added incentive to buy into the Main Event with PP LIVE Dollars, partypoker LIVE is giving the first 100 players to use PP LIVE Dollars to enter the $5 million guaranteed Main Event $1,000 in your partypoker account.
