The €3,000 Party Poker MILLIONS Malta main event day 2 ended with just 16 players left to fight it out on the final day. All remaining players are in the money and there’s €93,000 up top for the eventual champion and a trophy not entirely unlike the FIFA World Cup Trophy. Definitely worth purchasing a trophy cabinet if you bink this one.
13 players bought in just before the start of day 2 to take the total number of players contesting day 2 up to 92, from a total field of 154. Twenty players would make it into the prize money, but they played until they reached the past two tables. Still very much in contention going into the final day is Party Poker Team Pro Matt Staples, who bagged 455,000 chips, the 4th biggest stack of the day.; However he over a million chips behind the runaway leader at this stage, Fabio Peluso. The Italian player has a monster 1,490,000 stack, which is more than double that of his closest challenger, Clement Meunier on 710,000.
These are the chip counts of the remaining players
