$1 Million Gtd Main Event

Some 626 players have battled it out in the first three flights of the $1,050 buy-in $1 million guaranteed Main Event. Of those starters, only 94 have made it through to Day 2, doing so having locked up a min-cash from the main prize pool in addition to any bounties they banked during their Day 1.

$500,000 Gtd Mini Main Event

It is a similar story in the Mini Main Event which is only mini in name because there is a $500,000 guarantee on its prize pool. From Day 1A to 1C, some 2,468 players have bought in and put $246,800 into the prize pool. That means less than half of the guarantee has been collected, and could result in extra value to entrants through an overlay.

Only 358 players have made it through to Day 2 thus far, and nobody has more chips than Czech star Daniel Budin. He finished his flight with an incredible 27,291,741 chips and $368 worth of bounties. Only Joshua North of the United Kingdom (22,862,633) has at least 20 million chips from their one million starting stack.
