Tips for New Players
I think there are two basic rules to be a winner in this game. Playing inside your bankroll and studying. Without those two things, it´s impossible to win at poker.
Hailing from Mallorca, Tomeu Gomila has been proudly representing Spain at major live events around the world since 2005. Gomila notched numerous cashes on the tour from 2006-2009 but his first major breakthrough came in 2010 when he final tabled the WPT Spanish Championship in Barcelona for a $38,282 payday.
He followed that up with a deep run at the 2010 WSOP Main Event - after being among the chip leaders for much of Day 3 he cashed for $36,463, setting the stage for his biggest score by far in August 2011 when he finished 5th at EPT Barcelona for $266,525.
He’s had plenty of success online, maintaining a big following on Twitter where he provides updates during all his live tournament runs. He’s also a well-respected member of the Spanish poker community and was also the co-founder of the PokerVD training video site where he contributed hundreds of videos on poker strategy and tournament tactics.
