What is a scheduled tournament?
These tournaments have a fixed starting time and are pre-announced. If you want to participate in one of these tournaments, you must register before registration closes. The registration closing time will vary from tournament to tournament, but it will always be announced in advance in the lobby. Many of our tournaments will allow you to register after the specified start time, please check the tournament lobby for details.

What is the entry fee for a Sit & Go tournament?
Tournament fees vary by buy-in. In general the entry fee for a tournament will be anywhere from 0% to 25% of the buy-in amount. Actual tournament fees are shown in the buy-in screen for each tournament.
How do I register for a Sit & Go?
Single-table Sit & Go tournaments start as soon as the required number of players take a seat. Players choose their seats on a first-come-first-serve basis. Multi-table Sit & Go tournaments start as soon as the required number of players have registered. Players will be seated randomly.
Can I unregister from the Sit & Go tournament at any time?
Players will be allowed to unregister from a Sit & Go tournament as long as not all the seats have been filled. Players can unregister from tournaments which allow late registrations until 5 minutes before play begins.
What are multi-table tournaments?
Multi-table tournaments challenge your poker skills and give you the chance to win big prizes for a small outlay. Every multi-table tournament on partypoker has a buy-in as well as an entry fee. The buy-in is added to the prize pool, while the entry fee is kept by partypoker. The prize pool is the product of the buy-in and the number of participants in a tournament.For more details please refer Tournaments section of our website.
How do I register for a multi-table tournament?
Multi-table tournaments start at pre-determined times. To register, simply select the desired tournament from the lobby and click on the register button.
Can I unregister from the multi-table tournament at any time?
Players will be allowed to unregister from a multi-table tournament up to 5 minutes before the tournament start time. Players who register less than 5 minutes before the tournament start time will not be able to unregister.
How do I register for a shootout tournament?
To register, simply select the desired shootout tournament from the lobby and click on the register button. There are no late registrations for shootout tournaments.
How do I know how many rounds will be in a shootout tournament?
The number of rounds in a shootout tournament depends on the number of players that enter the tournament.
If I win the round, when will I be paid?
The final three players at a table in each round will be paid immediately when the round ends. If you are in round 4 you will be paid according to the multi-table payout schedule for the number of players in Round 4.
How many chips will I have to start each round?
All players start the tournament with 3,000 chips. At the beginning of every round, each player will have the same number of chips added to their total. Chips are added for each round as follows:
Will I be eligible for extra starting chips?
No. Players will not be eligible for extra starting chips in shootout tournaments.
Can I register late for a shootout tournament?
There is no late registration for Shootout tournaments.
What happens if a fourth round is required?
If round 4 is to be played, it reverts to a standard multi-table format to end the tournament. Payoffs will be made based on the remaining prize pool. The standard partypoker multi-table payout structure, if less than 10 players start round 4, will be applied: 50% for first place, 30% for second place and 20% for third place (the percentages are applied to the remaining prize pool).
When does the next round begin?
If you win and advance to the next round, it will begin once all tables have finished the current round. There will be a break of a few minutes before the next round commences.
