How do I create an account?

For all the details please visit our Getting Started page. Remember, you must be at least 18 years old to be able to open a real money account. If you have trouble installing or starting the program, please contact the Customer Care team.

Can I use my partypoker account for all of the Party-brand products?

Yes, you can use your partypoker account to log in to all our games on all party-branded products.

Can I deposit and withdraw cash from the partypoker website?

Yes, you can sign in to your account and deposit or withdraw cash.

Can I play for free?

Our play money games and tables are completely free.

What should I do to play for real money?

Just click on the 'Deposit' button at the top of the Lobby screen from the downloaded client, or from the header on the partypoker website once you have logged in, and choose the appropriate deposit option to add funds to your account to start playing with real money. What does account currency (AC) mean?

Your account currency is the currency that you have chosen to display your balance and account-specific details in. This includes deposits, withdrawals, and bonuses. You choose your account currency when you sign up for your real money account.

What does game currency (GC) mean?

The game currency is the currency that a game is played in. Each game has its own specific currency. The amount of money either on the table or in the machine will be displayed in the game currency, and all buy-ins and payouts are processed using the game currency rather than your account currency. It is possible, that the game currency is the same as your account currency, or different in which case you will be able to convert your money into the game currency.

What currencies can I use as my account currency?

The following currencies are currently supported: US dollar, euro, British pound, Canadian dollar, Japanese yen

Can I change my account currency after I have set it?

Yes. Simply visit the 'Your profile' page of your account, select the 'Edit' option on the page select your preferred currency from the drop-down menu, and hit the 'Save' button. You can change your account currency once. If you need to change your account currency a second time, please contact our Customer Care team. Remember, every time you change your account currency you will have to pay a conversion charge based on the current exchange rate.

How does the software calculate how much I have wagered on a game if my account currency is different from the game currency?

If the game currency is different from your account currency, we will convert the amount wagered from the game currency to your account currency according to the prevalent exchange rate. This will also apply to any pending bonuses.

How do I change my password/email address?

You can change your password or email address simply from your account profile pages. All you need to do is to log in the website and click the ‘Account link’ or from the poker client and then click on ‘Account' on the left-hand panel. Select the 'Personal Details' option on the tiles on the right hand side.

Is it free to open and maintain a partypoker account?

Yes. There are no set up costs or monthly charges, and you may play the play-for-free games as long as you want. If and when you want to play-for-real (playing with and winning real money), then you will need to add real (bona fide) money to your account through the cashier. Some transaction costs may apply, depending on how you want to send and receive money with us. For more information on cashier costs and fees, see the payment options.

Can I have more than one partypoker account?

No. For security reasons you are only permitted to have one partypoker account for us across our product sites. If you have more than one partypoker account, please contact us immediately to have the accounts merged. Failure to do so may result in closure of your partypoker account and forfeiture of your account balances.

How do I close my partypoker account?

You may close your account at any time by simply going to your Account section. You can also always contact our Customer Care team and request closure.

Why am I unable to close my account?

Please ensure the following before you submit the request to close your partypoker account: Please cash out any amount greater than $1 from your account Complete any unfinished game/ tournament before closing your account Unregister from any pending tournaments that you had signed up for

How often must I log in to keep my account open?

If You do not access Your Account by 'logging on' to Your Account using Your Account name and password and either
      (i) place a cash wager or bet via the Facilities, or
      (ii) enter a tournament with a cash entry fee via the Gaming Facilities, or
      (iii) play a raked hand via the Gaming Facilities, or
      (iv) make a deposit as applicable, for any consecutive period of 180 days, then after those 180 days (the 'Grace Period') Your Account (and any related account with any ESP) will be deemed 'Inactive' and we will be entitled to charge You an administrative fee (the 'Inactive Account Fee'). What is age verification?

By regulations, we are required to verify the identity and age of all our players to confirm that you are of legal age to participate in gaming. It is referred as age verification.

How do I get verified?

We complete this verification process online by validating the information you have provided such as you name, address and other details. There is a high possibility that we will be able to verify your details online as long as all the information you have provided is correct.

What if you cannot get my age verified using online methods?

There is a possibility that your details will not be validated online, especially when you are residing in Countries, where there are not enough online databases to verify. In case the verification fails, then you are required to upload a copy of any official photo identity proof (such as a Passport, Driver’s License, National Identity Card, etc) so that we can verify your account manually.

Will there be any impact on my account if I am not verified?

Without being verified you will not be able to withdraw any funds from your account or deposit more than EUR 50K cumulatively. Additionally once you deposit more than EUR 2K cumulatively, you will have 28 days to get verified, failing which you will be unable to deposit further funds into your account until you are verified.

If you are from United Kingdom, you will be required to get verified within 3 days from the time become a Real Money player, or from the time you are identified as a UK player, whichever is later. If you fail to get verified within the 3 days, your account will be placed on hold and you will not be allowed to deposit or play. However, you can still login and upload the required documents.

I am a player from United Kingdom, and my account is blocked from game play. How can resume playing?

We try to verify your age online, however, if we are unable to verify, you will be required to get verified within 3 days. If you fail to provide us with the necessary documents, you will not be allowed to deposit or play. You can still login and upload your documents. You will be notified as soon as we verify your documents, and you can resume playing.

What is the amount owed?

The Amount Owed is the amount your account is in debit, usually due to a chargeback or bet resettlement.

How do I check why my account is in debit?

Log in to your account through our software or the website, then view the transaction history in the Account section. For transactions older than last 6 months, please contact customer services and they will be able to assist you.
