The seventh edition of the partypoker POWERFEST kicked off on Sunday 21st January with the first 12 of 147 scheduled events and what a day of poker action it was.

It was the $500,000 guaranteed Title Fight Special Edition that was the biggest tournament of the opening day after it attracted 2,110 entrants. The massive $500,000 prize pool was shared among the top 280 finishers. A min-cash weighed in at $515 with the champion taking home $83,500.

That champion was “ABOUDIABY2” who defeated “DieguiDekk15” heads-up for the win, leaving the runner-up to collect $58,850. Roberto “WelshWizard” Romanello was the best performing member of Team partypoker, finishing in fourth-place for a $25,250 score.

Day “daykotoviezy” Kotoviezy of the Team Online team cashed in 247th place for $530 while sponsored pro Richard “RichyDubini” Dubini fell in 85th place for $930.
