Day 2 of the $2.1 million Monster Series III saw another 21 champions crowned and a cool $258,731 awarded to those who navigated their way into the money of these events.

Team partypoker’s Natalia “N4talB” Breviglieri managed to put together a deep run in one of the high event while streaming on Twitch, but ultimately fell short. Let’s take a look at three of the biggest events to see how they panned out.

The biggest prize of Day 2 went to “itmitmitmev” who took down the Monster #10-High: $50K Gtd, turning $33 into $8,095 after a heads-up deal with “pavadpoker”, who banked $7,023.

Team partypoker’s Renato “renatonomura” Nomura managed to finish in the money; he busted in 180th place for $71.03. By the time the final table was reached, everyone was guaranteed at least $599 for their effort.

“Ebalak28” was the final table’s first casualty and they were followed to the rail by “uvbncurnelled” who was the last player not to receive a four-figure score. “mrGreii” netted $1,336 for their sixth-place finish and they were joined on the sidelines by “ImaaPickleee”, “printsprint” and “ex6tence”, leaving pavadpoker and itmitmitmev to battle heads-up.

The final pair of players decided to strike a deal for the remaining prize pool and they shared more than $15,100 between them.

Monster #08-High: $20K Gtd Deepstack

“Trauma12” enjoyed a $3,622 boost to their bankroll after outlasting 1,052 opponents in the Monster #08-High: $20K Gtd Deepstack. Trauma12 locked horns with “CaptainWhale” heads-up in a battle for the title and the lion’s share of the prize pool.

It was a battle that saw trauma12 harpoon CaptainWhale to secure the $3,622 top prize and resigned the runner-up to a $2,594 consolation prize.

The top four finishers all locked up a four figure score for their $22 investment. “elcheck” crashed out in fourth-place for $1,149 with “Radcadabra” netting $1,716 for their third-place exit.

Monster #09-High: $30K Gtd 6-Max PKO

Team partypoker’s Natalia “N4talB” Breviglieri looked set to become a Monster Series champion in the Monster #09-High: $30K Gtd 6-Max PKO but her impressive run ended in a 13th place finish from 1,435 entrants.

Breviglieri collected $143.50 from the main prize pool plus an additional $47,27 from the bounty prize pool having sent three opponents to the rail.

Talking of bounties, we have to give a special mention to “mammino17” who busted in 19th place for $107.62 but they sent 22 players to the showers for bounty payments of $606.51!

Fourth-placed “Bectolo4” collected 16 bounties, the second-most of anyone in the tournament, with the eventual champion “quequieh” banking $2,691 for their victory plus an additional $3,191 for the 15 bounties they scalped along the way.

Monster Series III: Schedule for Day 3

Another 21 Monster Series events are scheduled for Day 3 of the festival on Tuesday 31st July. They kick off at regular interval from 15:00 CET through to 01:00 CET and have combined guaranteed prize pool worth a cool $205,000.

There is a great mix of different formats to choose from, although two events in particular look incredible value. Look out for Monster #15-High: $20K Gtd PKO at 15:00 CET costing $27.50 to enter and the Monster #17-High: $50K Gtd PKO at 19:00 CET that costs $33 to buy into.

Monster Series III Promotions

We have a trio of Monster Series promotions that are dripping with value and you can get involved in all three.
