He\u2019d walk away with $65,331 even if the unthinkable happened and he was the first casualty of the final table. That\u2019s extremely unlikely to happen, it\u2019s more likely Haxton will be up there challenging for the near-$880,000 top prize.<\/p>\n<p>Eight legitimate poker stars stand between Haxton and that mammoth prize.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/filatov-and-haxton-reach-penultimate-day-of-cpp-main-event.html\"><strong>Diego Ventura<\/strong><\/a> is one of those eight grinders and he\u2019s going to take some beating. The Peruvian has shone in this massive event, ending Day 1B, Day 2, and Day 3 as the overall chip leader. Ventura has 307,433,755 chips in his arsenal while no other players have broken through the 200 million barrier. It\u2019s Ventura\u2019s tournament to lose, what an enviable position to find yourself in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grayson Ramage<\/strong> finds himself in second place when the final table commences under the watchful eye of the partypoker Twitch commentary team. Ramage is another player in hot form having finished third in the <strong>Mini Main Event<\/strong> for a $56,160 prize.<\/p>\n<p>The United Kingdom\u2019s <strong>Jonathan Proudfoot<\/strong> was one of the shorter stacks on Day 3 but rectified that and is now in third place.
