He won the <strong>$25,500 Super High Roller<\/strong> ($520,464) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2019-cpp-day-8-mateos-main-event.html\"><strong>$10,300 Main Event<\/strong><\/a> ($1,162,805) at last year\u2019s festival and is now looking to continue that incredible run with victory in the online festival.<\/p>\n<p>Mateos returns to the action at 19:05 GMT on November 18 knowing he\u2019s only six eliminations away from securing a $585,175 prize. He is one of two returning players armed with more than 20 million chips.<\/p>\n<p>The United Kingdom-based Spaniard has 24.250.438 chips in his stack, nudging him ahead of <strong>Pascal Lefrancois<\/strong> (21,185,184) in second place.<\/p>\n<p>Third place at the restart belongs to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/isaac-haxton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Isaac Haxton<\/strong><\/a> (15,718,845) with Mateos\u2019 fellow countryman <strong>Sergi Reixach<\/strong> occupying fourth spot (9,492,570).<\/p>\n<p>Austrian <strong>Claas Stoob<\/strong> (5,622,968) has the chance to make a name for himself when play resumes. <strong>Daniel Colpoys<\/strong> (5,502,951) and our very own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/sam-trickett\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Sam Trickett<\/strong><\/a> (2,209,044) make up the rest of the final table.<\/p>\n<p>Each of the returning players is guaranteed $84,837 for their efforts after the money bubble burst during Day 1 proceedings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darren Elias<\/strong> is used to winning tournaments not bubbling them but he did the latter in this prestigious event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joao Vieira<\/strong> and <strong>Vyacheslav Buldygin<\/strong> collected $57,533 with <strong>Luke Reeves<\/strong> and super high roller specialist <strong>Timothy Adams<\/strong> banking $65,314. Mets got his hands on the largest slice of the $204,000 pie by claiming the $15,987 top prize for himself and boosting that impressive sum with an additional $26,664 from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/renato-nomura\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Renato Nomura<\/strong><\/a> was Team partypoker\u2019s sole representative in the money list, the Brazilian star busted in 27th place for $1,222 which increase by $687 with bounties included.<\/p>\n<p>The seven-handed final table started with the elimination of <strong>Joshua Hoesel<\/strong> whose combined prize weighed in at $6,079. Hungary\u2019s <strong>Marton Czuczor<\/strong> was the first player to net five-figures, a combined $16,597 for a third-place finish.<\/p>\n<p>Mets then brushed aside <strong>Samy Ouellani<\/strong> heads-up to lock up the tournament\u2019s largest prize. A Daily Sat starts at 17:05 GMT and has three Main Event seats guaranteed.
