Victory in these tournaments is never a simple task because they attract some of the best players in the world. As was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/martirosian-wins-player-of-the-championship-after-thrilling-finale.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Artur Martirosian<\/strong><\/a> and <strong>Juan Pardo<\/strong>, the latter bursting the final table bubble.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steve O\u2019Dwyer<\/strong> and the Swedish legend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/wpt-online-series-niklas-astedt-wins-weekender-for-175k.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Niklas Astedt<\/strong><\/a> were the final table\u2019s first casualties. <strong>Carl Lie<\/strong>, <strong>Christoph Vogelsang<\/strong>, and the high roller specialist <strong>Ole Schemion<\/strong> joined that pair on the sidelines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthias Eibinger<\/strong> fell in third and left Haxton to fight it out with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2020-irish-open-massive-turn-out-for-day-1a-vieira-wins-e2k-high-roller.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Joao Vieira<\/strong><\/a> heads-up.
