Godwin found herself as the shortest stack 1.5 hours into play and the dream looked to be over.<strong> Christoph Vogelsang<\/strong> opened to 25,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/5c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> at the 6,000\/12,000\/1,500a level and the action folded to Godwin in the big blind. He was sat behind more than 100 big blinds when Dvoress busted but lost several keys hands to become the table\u2019s short stack. His final hand happened during the 8,000\/16,000\/2,000a level and saw Vogelsang raise to 34,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Haxton was next to act and he three-bet to 75,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. This folded out Reixach and Addamo in the blinds, but Vogelsang was going nowhere. Loeliger open-shoved for 105,000 chips (6.5 big blinds) on the button with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Reixach made the call from the big blind with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/4s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/4h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Reixach min-raised to <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/4h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> from under the gun and everyone folded to Haxton in the big blind who lay in wait with the dominating <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ks.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Haxton re-raised to 115,000. Amazingly, despite Godwin only having 14 big blinds at her disposal and there being severe ICM implications, Reixach jammed all-in for 828,000 and Haxton called.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/patrick-leonard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/tony-dunst-wins-world-poker-tour-caribbean-main-event-145000.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Tony Dunst<\/strong><\/a>, and <strong>James Dempsey<\/strong> were in the commentary booth and couldn\u2019t believe Reixach\u2019s play. Godwin is living proof that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/promotions\/boosted-daily-legends\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>anyone can win big at partypoker<\/strong><\/a>. Not having to battle through hours and hours of late registration, then take on pros who can afford half a dozen re-entries really levels the playing field. Godwin held her own against the world\u2019s best players and can be extremely proud of turning $109 into $620,000.<\/p>\n<p>Addamo held a chip advantage going into heads-up, his 2,300,000 (143 big blind) stack edging out Haxton\u2019s 1,700,000 (105 big blinds). Being so deep, it was no surprise that a deal was discussed and then struck.
