Some of the biggest names in poker joined Martirosian but only five others receive a slice of the $1 million prize pool.<\/p>\n<p>Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/roberto-romanello\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Roberto Romanello<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/nikita-bodyakovskiy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mikita Badziakouski<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/isaac-haxton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Isaac Haxton<\/strong><\/a> all busted before the money places. British superstar <strong>Stephen Chidwick<\/strong> was the unfortunate soul who burst the money bubble, his seventh-place exit paving the way for a cash of at least $57,400 for the six survivors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pascal Lefrancois<\/strong> and <strong>Sam Greenwood<\/strong> were the first pair of players heading for the exits. The Canadians fell in sixth and fifth-place, collecting $57,400 and $69,000 respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steve O\u2019Dwyer<\/strong>\u2019s hot form continued following his victory in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/wptwoc-event-winner-round-up-steve-odwyer-wins-heads-up-championship.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>$3,200 Heads-Up Championship<\/strong><\/a>. O\u2019Dwyer saw his tournament end in a fourth-place finish worth $93,500, the last prize not to weigh in at six-figures.<\/p>\n<p>Third-place and $155,000 went to <strong>Samuel Vousden<\/strong> who won a $10,300 High Roller at the weekend for $158,100. Team partypoker\u2019s <strong>Isaac Haxton<\/strong> banked the same sum for his eighth-place finish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elias Talvitie<\/strong> and <strong>Kahle Burns<\/strong>\u2019 time at the final table was limited and their demise was confirmed in seventh and sixth place. <strong>Charlie Godwin<\/strong>\u2019s fifth-place exit netted her $32,895 before <strong>Stephen Chidwick<\/strong> and team partypoker\u2019s <strong>Mikita Badziakouski<\/strong> fell and scooped $46,410 and $72,420. The points earned from these two results have catapulted Martirosian into first place of the <strong>WPT Player of the Championship<\/strong> race. He leap-frogged <strong>Scott Margereson<\/strong> who finished fifth in the WPT Big Game for $55,212. That race is seriously hotting up.<\/p>\n<p>Others who padded their bankrolls with ample sums include Team partypoker\u2019s <strong>Isaac Haxton<\/strong> (7th &#8211; $32,625), <strong>Rok Gostisa<\/strong> (6th &#8211; $42,162), <strong>Benjamin Rolle<\/strong> (4th &#8211; $78,301) and <strong>Jan-Eric Schwippert<\/strong> (3rd &#8211; $104,602).<\/p>\n<h2>Current Player of the Championship Leaderboard<\/h2>\n<p>Martirosian now enjoys an 18.25 point lead over Margeson in the race for a free $50,000 cash prize. Two members of Team partypoker, Roberto Romanello and Kristen Bicknell, are in fifth and sixth-place.
