The Finnish superstars, better known as <strong>\u201c\u20acurop\u20acan\u201d<\/strong>, was the last man standing in the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Timothy Adams<\/strong> burst the money bubble when he busted in 10th place. Adams\u2019 demise locked up $20,910 for the surviving players, which is the sum Bujtas Laszlo and Michael Addamo got their hands on.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kahle Burns<\/strong>, who is going great guns in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/pascal-hartmann-leads-high-roller-championship.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>$25,500 High Roller Championship<\/strong><\/a>, fell in seventh-place and <strong>David Peters<\/strong> joined him a short while later.<\/p>\n<p>Then came the exit of high stakes specialist <strong>Justin Bonomo<\/strong> and WPTWOC Heads-Up champion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/wptwoc-event-winner-round-up-steve-odwyer-wins-heads-up-championship.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Steve O\u2019Dwyer<\/strong><\/a>, the latter walking away with $46,410.<\/p>\n<p>Heads-up was set with the Swedish world-beater <strong>Niklas Astedt<\/strong> ran out of steam in third-place. This added yet another $72,420 to the Swede\u2019s already ridiculous online poker tournament winnings tally that\u2019s in excess of $21 million.<\/p>\n<p>Vousden and <strong>Artur Martirosian<\/strong> locked horns for the title, but only one man would emerge victorious. Third place and the last five-figure prize of the tournament went to Canada\u2019s <strong>Jeffrey Cormier<\/strong>. His exit left <strong>Rob Yong<\/strong> and Rolle to lock horns and butt heads heads-up for the title.<\/p>\n<p>There was o deal struck despite a near $50,000 difference in the payouts. This meant Yong had to make do with a $107,500 runner-up score when he lost to Rolle in the final clash of the event.
