A bumper crowd of 4,600 players started the $5 million guaranteed WPT Mini Main Event<\/strong> and only nine of those hopefuls remain going into the final day\u2019s action. Liviu-Rodrig Bartha is the man to catch going into the nine-handed final table, but victory is far from a forgone conclusion.<\/p>\n

Team partypoker\u2019s Hristivoje Pavlovic<\/strong><\/a> went into the penultimate day\u2019s action as the chip leader but he couldn\u2019t quite get over the final hurdle. Our awesome Team Online<\/strong><\/a> player fell in 13th place for a $27,800 score.<\/p>\n

Our very own Roberto Romanello<\/strong><\/a> went a couple of places deeper before crashing out in 11th place, narrowly missing out on another major final table. Romanello banked $36.700.<\/p>\n

Before the two orange diamond sporting grinders busted, Naith Hanchard<\/strong> saw his impressive run end in 32nd place, a finish worth $14,100. Hanchard won his $1,050 Mini Main Event seat via a $33 Monster Sat<\/strong> so his ROI for this event is huge.<\/p>\n

We also had to say goodbye to two of the game\u2019s top players. Peter Jetten<\/strong>\u2019s run ended in 15th place for $27,800 and Faraz Jaka<\/strong> ran out of steam one place later in 14th; he also collected $27,800.<\/p>\n

Each of the nine finalists are now guaranteed at least $45,600 for their efforts. There is $2,285,099 left to play for from the $5,000,000 prize pool! Amazingly, if the remaining players decided to do an even chop of the pot, they\u2019d each receive almost $255,000! That won\u2019t happen because the top prize is worth an incredible $758,312.<\/p>\n

Liviu-Rodrig Bartha<\/strong>, a UK-based Romanian, is the man to catch when play resumes. Bartha returns to his seat with 277,140,435 chips, one of only two players to have over 200 million betting tokens.<\/p>\n

Free $1,050 Ticket Turns Into Final Table Appearance For Four Stars<\/h2>\n

Brazil\u2019s Renen Carlos Bruschi<\/strong> is the other finalist with a huge stack, namely 203,120,309 chips. Bruschi is loving life right now thanks to winning his $1,050 seat via our WPT Ticket Drop promotion<\/strong><\/a>. He took down a tournament that had a Mini Main Event ticket added to the prize pool and now he\u2019s navigated his way to the final table.<\/p>\n

Three other players are in a similar position<\/strong> to Bruschi having won multi-table tournaments with a free $1,050 WPT ticket awarded to their champion.<\/p>\n

Janis Lose<\/strong> (75,277,604), Ravil Timisov<\/strong> (56,296,816), and Freek Schloten<\/strong> (39,399,748) are that value-hunting trio. Their free $1,050 Mini Main Event seat<\/strong> is now worth $45,600 but they\u2019re only eight eliminations away from what would essentially be a free $758,312! Can you imagine how amazing that would be?<\/p>\n

None of the players who make up the final table is there to make up the numbers. Each reached the big stage on merit and will have a major say in where the title heads.<\/p>\n

Third-place at the restart is Romans Voitovs<\/strong> (84,694,994) who you may know by his famous online alias \u201cRovodice\u201d<\/strong>. Voitovs is a phenomenal poker tournament player who has dozens of online titles to his name. He\u2019s also a competitive CS:GO eSports player<\/strong> so is used to high-pressure situations.<\/p>\n

Arturs Balodis<\/strong> (80,143,652) is nicely poised in the middle of the pack while Moldova\u2019s Nichita Verbitchii<\/strong> (65,142,112) is a little further down the pecking order. His stack, however, has 26 big blinds in it so he\u2019s not in any immediate danger.<\/p>\n

Bringing up the rear but still in with a chance of glory is Tobias Koerper<\/strong> of Germany. He returns with 37,669,280 chips (15 big blinds), enough for ninth-place, but he\u2019s one double-up away from being right back in the thick of it.<\/p>\n
