Only 40 places were paid, so spare a little thought for <strong>Mortan Holm Schwartson<\/strong> of the Faroe Islands who busted in 41st place and burst the money bubble.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/renato-nomura\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Renato Nomura<\/strong><\/a> saw his tournament end in a 29th place finish worth $581. Others who cashed included <strong>Viktor Ustimov<\/strong>, <strong>Christophe De Meulder<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/wpt-online-series-fabio-sperling-wins-wpt500.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Fabio Sperling<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Barry Hutter<\/strong>, <strong>Lars Kamphues<\/strong>, <strong>Roman Matveichuk<\/strong>, and final table bubble boy <strong>Jerry Odeen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Each of the eight finalists secured at least $1,288 for their efforts. <strong>Augustin Hagen<\/strong>, <strong>Diogo Gomes<\/strong>, and <strong>Matthieu Rodriguez<\/strong> were the final table\u2019s first casualties. <strong>Pablo Roman<\/strong> followed Rodriguez to the rail before Sweden\u2019s <strong>Alexander Ivarsson<\/strong> fell in fourth-place for $4,498.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joshua Hoesel<\/strong>, from his base in Mexico, crashed and burned in third for $6,141 which left Leonard and <strong>Istvan Habencius<\/strong> to fight it out for the title and the tournament\u2019s $12,079 top prize.<\/p>\n<p>Leonard defeated his Hungarian opponent and helped himself to the lion\u2019s share of the $61,200 prize pool. Nemeth defeated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2017-caribbean-poker-party-day-5-chris-hunichen-wins-super-high-roller.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Chris Hunichen<\/strong><\/a> heads-up, leaving Hunichen to bank $17,528.<\/p>\n<p>Team Online\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/matthew-staples-wins-93000-in-partypoker-million.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Matthew Staples<\/strong><\/a> reached the final table, outlasting the likes of <strong>Gregorie Auzoux<\/strong>, <strong>Tamas Adamszki<\/strong>, and the Swedish star that is <strong>Simon Mattsson<\/strong>.
