This event is always packed to the brim with poker\u2019s biggest names and most established players. The latest edition was no exception.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ivan Gabrieli<\/strong> crashed out in 33rd place and earned himself the unwanted title of \u201cbubble boy.\u201d Gabrieli\u2019s exit paved the way for a raft of superb players to see a return on their investment. These included Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/patrick-leonard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/jeff-gross\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jeff Gross<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/jordan-drummond\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jordan Drummond<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Current WPT Player of the Series leader <strong>Scott Margereson<\/strong>, <strong>Preben Stokkan<\/strong>, <strong>Jans Arends<\/strong>, <strong>Mark Radoja<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/wptwoc-event-winner-pascal-lefrancois-takes-down-super-high-roller.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Pascal Lefrancois<\/strong><\/a>, and <strong>Conor Beresford<\/strong> also navigated their way deep into the money places.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Dvoress<\/strong> was the eight-handed final table\u2019s first casualty. The recent WSOP bracelet winner secured $25,000 for his efforts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Colpoys<\/strong>, who narrowly missed out on WPTWOC glory earlier in the series, finished seventh for $32,500 before <strong>William Arruda<\/strong> busted in sixth-place for a $42,000 cash haul.<\/p>\n<h2>Four-Time WPT Champion Crashes Out<\/h2>\n<p>WPT regular <strong>Darren Elias<\/strong> ran out of steam in fifth-place and had to make do with a $55,000 prize. Elias holds four WPT Main Event titles, the most of anyone in the tour\u2019s long and illustrious history.<\/p>\n<p>Fourth place and the last five-figure score went to Dutch star <strong>Teun Mulder<\/strong>. The man from the Netherlands collected $78,000. Mulder\u2019s exit left Fox to lock horns with <strong>Christian Rudolph<\/strong> and a certain Team partypoker member, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/roberto-romanello\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Roberto Romanello<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rudolph saw his tournament end abruptly in third, which weighed in at $104,200. Romanello and Fox fought it out heads-up for the title and the lion\u2019s share of the prize pool.
