The leader\u2019s stack is that large that he has almost 1.5 million more chips than any of the 1,365-players who return to the action at 20:00 CEST on August 31 for Day 2.<\/p>\n<p>Only one other Day 1B grinder bagged up more than four million chips, that player being Martin Erdmann of Germany. Danish star <strong>Kim Heidermann<\/strong> was a handful of chips short of four million so can be very pleased with how they\u2019ve started this $1 million guaranteed event.<\/p>\n<p>Outside the top 10, Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/patrick-leonard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Patrick Leonard<\/strong><\/a> (1,936,124) made it through. Leonard\u2019s teammates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/carl-froch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Carl Froch<\/strong><\/a> (692,690), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/jeff-gross\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jeff Gross<\/strong><\/a> (448,729) also punched their Day 2 tickets.<\/p>\n<p>As did such luminaries as <strong>Jerry Wong<\/strong> (2,882,315), <strong>Jans Arends<\/strong> (2,371,493), <strong>Adam Owen<\/strong> (2,101,428), <strong>Dominik Panka<\/strong> (1,589,595), and <strong>Dara O\u2019Kearney<\/strong> (1,343,824).<\/p>\n<p>Play resumes at 20:00 CEST on August 31 and continues until the conclusion of the 20th level. The top 1,304 finishers receive at least $210 for their efforts, with a final table appearance boosting this to $8,540. He was the only player to bag up more than four million chips, although some massive names were hot on his heels.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/stephen-chidwick-takes-down-two-high-roller-club-events.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Stephen Chidwick<\/strong><\/a> returns to the action next week with 3,624,171 chips in his stack. That\u2019s bad news for the rest of the field because Chidwick certainly knows how to wield a big stack.<\/p>\n<p>As does <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2017-caribbean-poker-party-day-3-preben-stokkan-wins-high-roller.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Preben Stokkan<\/strong><\/a> who finished Day 1A with 3,609,940 chips.<\/p>\n<p>Team partypoker will be represented by a few of its members. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/roberto-romanello\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Roberto Romanello<\/strong><\/a> shone the brightest of our stars, the Triple Crown-winning Welshman turned his 200,000 starting stack into a more substantial 2,182,110. Teammates <strong>Patrick Leonard<\/strong> (1,825,141), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/hristivoje-pavlovic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Hristivoje Pavlovic<\/strong><\/a> (1,702,793), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/richard-dubini\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Richard Dubini<\/strong><\/a> (524,339), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/nikita-bodyakovskiy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mikita Badziakouski<\/strong><\/a> (323,992) also made it through from Day 1A.<\/p>\n<p>As you\u2019d expect from such a prestigious tournament, the opening flight was packed with stellar names.
