None of us are likely to forget the year 2020, but Batista will definitely look back on August 2020 with fond memories, regardless of what happens when the WPT #05 Knockout Championship final table completes.<\/p>\n<p>You see, Batista returns to action with the overall chip lead and having already locked up $25,078 in bounty payments. That impressive result netted him $4,246. We had randomly selected that tournament as part of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/wpt-world-online-championship\/ticket-drop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>WPT Ticket Drop promotion<\/strong><\/a> so Batista also won a free $3,200 ticket. The $3,200 ticket is now worth at least $19,483 from the main prize pool and $25,078 from the bounty prize pool.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t know which tournament to play, then I chose to play the Knockout Championship because of the more immediate ROI I could get from the bounties. After eliminating the first player I thought \u2018first step is done\u2019. When I made Day 2, I couldn\u2019t even sleep. Then today at the beginning of the day I got aces in a triple all-in and was amongst the top stacks for the rest of the day,\u201d said Batista.<\/p>\n<p>Should Batista go all the way in this event, he\u2019ll walk away with $208,803 and possibly the same in bounties depending on how many foes he sends to the rail along the way. Loeser has an incredible $11,126,205 in live tournament winnings, including a $2,162,644 prize. We know he\u2019s previously won the Sunday Million so definitely knows his way around a final table. Riess, of course, won the <strong>2013 World Series of Poker Main Event<\/strong> in Las Vegas for $8,361,570 but has proven that wasn\u2019t a one-off by helping himself to some huge prizes in the years that have passed.
