Fellow British grinder <strong>Sam Grafton<\/strong> began the day with enough chips to place him fifth at the restart, but he was the first casualty of the night.<\/p>\n<p>Grafton lost half his stack to <strong>Lars Kamphues<\/strong> when his <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/tc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> couldn\u2019t get there against Kamphues\u2019 <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> then got his final 12 big blinds into the middle with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> against the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/as.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> of <strong>Shyngis Satubayev<\/strong>. That had left Grafton with 0.9 big blinds and they went into the middle with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">, which lost to the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/td.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> of <strong>Dmitry Yurasov<\/strong> with Grafton hitting a set on the river but Yurasov improving to a Broadway straight. It just wasn\u2019t Grafton\u2019s day.<\/p>\n<h2>Dimov Misses Out on Triple Crown<\/h2>\n<p>Bulgarian pro <strong>Ognyan Dimov<\/strong> blinded down to 10 big blinds and jammed them into the middle with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> from under the gun. UK-based Belgian <strong>Thomas Boivin<\/strong> called with the dominating <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/as.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> from the next seat along to put Dimov at risk of elimination. Dimov flopped top two but was drawing dead by the turn of the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qs.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/js.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/2s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jiachen Gong<\/strong> of Canada was another short stack who had resorted to pushing all in or folding. A couple of his shoves got through with no resistance but when he pushed 9.5 big blinds under the gun with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/as.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> he found a caller in the shape of <strong>Daniel Colpoys<\/strong> in the big blind who had been dealt <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/tc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Gong turned a flush draw but the tens held and only six players remained in contention for the $540,664 top prize.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/B68StEmjQhg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Colpoys couldn\u2019t put Gong\u2019s chips to much use and he became the sixth-place finisher. Cochrane started the hand with a raise to 1,100,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/th.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> before calling when Colpoys three-bet all-in for 10,300,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. You\u2019ve got to win your flips to win poker tournaments and Cochrane did exactly that with the board running <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/2s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qs.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/5s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. His demise was confirmed a few hands after Colpoys\u2019 exit. Cochrane min-raised to 1,000,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ks.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and called the 9.5 big blind shove from Satubayev which he made with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/tc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Cochrane flopped a flush draw before spiking a king on the turn as the five community cards fell <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> to bust the Kazakhstan grinder in fifth.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4q9Hcd_M63g\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Yurasov led the final four for quite some time but lost a series of pots to leave him with a push-or-fold stack. His exit was confirmed when the action folded to Cochrane in the small blind and he raised all-in, putting Yurasov to the test for his last 10 big blinds. Yurasov called with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> only for Cochrane to show <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ks.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. The <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> board provided little drama and Yurasov busted in fourth place.<\/p>\n<p>Third place and a cool $256,727 went to Lars Kamphues who couldn\u2019t quite match the heroics of his brother Timo who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/timo-kamphues-bulldozes-his-way-to-wptwoc-shooting-stars-victory.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>won the Shooting Stars for Charity event<\/strong><\/a> last week. Kamphues came unstuck during the 400,000\/800,000\/100,000a level. He jammed all in from the small blind for 7,400,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Boivin called from the big blind with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/5c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/5s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. The difference between first and second-place weighed in at $152,546 but there was no deal struck; both players fought it out to the death.<\/p>\n<p>Boivin came out best from the early one-on-one confrontations and looked to be running away with proceedings, but he just couldn\u2019t shake Cochrane off.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZjDGepGAemM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The turning point was when Cochrane flopped a straight with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/5s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and the chips went into the middle with Boivin holding top pair and a gutshot straight draw.
