Most tournaments play out six or eight-max, so seven-max added a twist to proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>The tournaments were well-received and <strong>a massive $1.6 million was paid out<\/strong> across the three buy-in levels: $2,100, $215 and $22. Here is how the final tables of the trio of 7-Max Weekenders went down.<\/p>\n<h2>WPT 7-Max Weekender $1M Gtd Final Table Results<\/h2>\n<p>The $2,100 buy-in WPT 7-Max Weekender attracted some of the biggest names in the industry. Fifty-seven spots were paid and the likes of <strong>Jack Sinclair<\/strong>, <strong>Manig Loeser<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2017-caribbean-poker-party-day-5-chris-hunichen-wins-super-high-roller.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Chris Hunichen<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/poker-masters-victories-for-watson-and-nemeth.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mike Watson<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/niall-farrell-wins-the-wpt-caribbean-main-event-for-335000.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Niall Farrell<\/strong><\/a>, and <strong>Tom Hall<\/strong> all saw a return on their investment.<\/p>\n<p>Denmark\u2019s <strong>Sebastian Larsen<\/strong> was the player who crashed out in eighth-place to set the final table. The Dane collected $19,848.<\/p>\n<p>Brazilian grinder <strong>Franciso Pinho Correia<\/strong> was the first player to bust from the final table. His seventh-place exit secured a $24,731 payday. Germany\u2019s <strong>Leon Sturm<\/strong> busted before the reigning MILLIONS Online champion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2019-millions-online-champion.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Benjamin Chalot<\/strong><\/a> saw his tournament end in a fifth-place finish worth $43,029.<\/p>\n<p>Four-handed play ended with Dutchman <strong>Joesphus Van Den Bijgaart<\/strong> crashed out and got his hands on $62,774. Hungary\u2019s <strong>Norbert Szecsi<\/strong>, a regular in partypoker high stakes tournaments, ran out of steam in third, banked $91,132 and sent this event into the heads-up stage.<\/p>\n<p>The final battle pitted <strong>Eder Campana<\/strong> of Brazil against Canadian star <strong>Guillaume Nolet<\/strong>. Both players were guaranteed a six-figure prize, but there was more than $55,000 difference between first and second-place, plus those vital leaderboard points for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/wpt-world-online-championship\/player-of-the-championship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>WPT Player of the Championship<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Campana got his hands on Nolet\u2019s stack and, therefore, the monster-sized $186,839 top prize. Ponakovs got his hands on the lion\u2019s share of the $500,000 prize pool, namely $80,278.<\/p>\n<p>Plenty of familiar faces put together deep runs in this event, but couldn\u2019t quite reach the final table. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/jean-pascal-savard-is-the-partypoker-million-north-america-champion.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jean-Pascal Savard<\/strong><\/a>, winner of the $2,100 edition <strong>Eder Campana<\/strong>, <strong>David Yan<\/strong>, and <strong>Ben Farrell<\/strong> all came close to tasting victory.<\/p>\n<p>All but one of the finalists saw their bankrolls swell by five-figures, seventh-place finisher <strong>Marcin Mroz<\/strong> banking $8,968. From there, <strong>Victor Pertile<\/strong>, <strong>Vitalii Pankov<\/strong>, and <strong>Bruno Bernadino<\/strong> busted, the latter\u2019s demise in fourth netting him $24,463.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Laszlo Molnar<\/strong> was the penultimate elimination. He scooped $36,340 from his home in Hungary.<\/p>\n<p>Molnar\u2019s exit left <strong>Federico Oscar Janices<\/strong> of Argentina facing Ponakovs for the title and the juicy top prize. Everyone at the final table won at least $1,717 while the top two finishers saw their lifetime winnings increase by a five-figure amount.<\/p>\n<p>Those players were Russia\u2019s <strong>Aleksei Epeikin<\/strong> and Brazil\u2019s <strong>Francisco Sinesio<\/strong>. The heads-up battle resulted in victory for Brazil with Sinesio scooping $15,712.
