Our predictions came true on June 25 when the ridiculously talented grinder took down another $10,300 buy-in event.<\/p>\n<h2>High Roller Club: Main Event $400K Gtd<\/h2>\n<p>Foxen\u2019s latest impressive victory came in the <strong>$10,300 buy-in Main Event<\/strong> that had $400,000 guaranteed but the 42-strong crowd meant $420,000 was awarded.<\/p>\n<p>Only the top six finishers walked away with a return on their investment, with Netherlands\u2019 <strong>Luuk Gieles<\/strong> being the last player to miss out on some cash.<\/p>\n<p>Swedish legend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/wpt-online-series-niklas-astedt-wins-weekender-for-175k.html\"><strong>Niklas Astedt<\/strong><\/a> was eliminated in sixth place at the hands of fellow Swede <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/viktor-blom-wins-again-secures-third-shrb-title.html\"><strong>Viktor Blom<\/strong><\/a>. Astedt min-raised to 500,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> under the gun, Blom three-bet to 1,425,000 from the next seat along with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Astedt jammed for 7,218,506. Blom called. Blom flopped top set and improved to an unbeatable full house on the turn to send Astedt to the showers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mike Watson<\/strong> crashed out to Blom on the very next hand. He min-raised on the button with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and called when Blom three-bet all-in from the big blind with the dominating <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Neither player improved, but Blom didn\u2019t need to. Game over for Watson in fifth place, a finish worth $29,400.<\/p>\n<h2>Foxen Bolsters His Stack By Busting Malinowski<\/h2>\n<p>Foxen revealed Blom of his executioner duties by busting <strong>Wiktor Malinowski<\/strong>. Foxen limped in from the small blind with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/js.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ts.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">, Malinowski raised to 875,000 in the big blind with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Foxen tanked before making it 8,125,000 to go, which covered Malinowski\u2019s stack. Malinowski called it off and the five community cards fell <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/td.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3s.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> gifting Foxen top pair then a flush to reduce the player count by one.<\/p>\n<p>Three-handed play lasted more than half an hour and ended with the exit of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/alexandros-kolonias-becomes-a-poker-masters-champion.html\"><strong>Alexandros Kolonias<\/strong><\/a>. The former WSOP Europe Main Event champion min-raised to 700,000 from the button with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qs.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> before calling off his 6,418,332 chips when Foxen set him all-in with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/3h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. It was Foxen\u2019s lucky day because the Poker Gods rewarded him with a trey on the flop. His set held, Kolonias busted in third and heads-up was set.<\/p>\n<p>Foxen went into the one-on-one battle with heads-up specialist Blom slightly trailing in chips with 20,774,175 to Blom\u2019s 21,225,825.<\/p>\n<p>Blom initially pulled into a three-to-one chip lead but Foxen reversed that back in his favour. The final hand took place at the 200,000\/400,000\/50,000a level and started with a min-raise to 800,000 from Blom with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/7h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and Foxen called with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/js.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/th.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. A flop reading <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/as.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> saw Foxen check and Blom test the waters with an 800,000 bet and Foxen called. The turn brought <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">, which completed Foxen\u2019s Broadway straight and he checked his monster hand. Blom bet another 2,000,000 into the 3,300,000 pot and Foxen called.<\/p>\n<p>The <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> river completed the board and Foxen checked for a third time. Blom took the bait and jammed all-in for 6,075,415, which Foxen snapped off.
