Dozens of the world\u2019s best players turned out for the High Roller Club events, but it was UK-based Australian superstar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/poker-masters-online-aussies-dominate-wins-for-addamo-and-burns.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Michael Addamo<\/strong><\/a> who shone brightest. What happened? Let\u2019s find out.<\/p>\n<h2>High Roller Club: Main Event $1M Gtd<\/h2>\n<p>Thirty-nine players parted company with $25,500 in this Sunday\u2019s <strong>High Roller Club Main Event<\/strong> and only five of them walked away with a slice of the $1 million prize pool.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stephen Chidwick<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/daniel-dvoress-bags-a-massive-614k-prize.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Daniel Dvoress<\/strong><\/a> both reached the final table but still left the tournament empty-handed, as did <strong>Sergi Reixach<\/strong> who fell in sixth-place and was the unfortunate soul who burst the money bubble.<\/p>\n<h2>Money Bubble Bursts<\/h2>\n<p>Reixach busted in a massive pot. <strong>Rok Gostisa<\/strong> min-raised to 500,000 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> in the cutoff and Reixach jammed from the small blind for 6,471,292 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/as.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/jouhkimainen-and-lefrancois-land-poker-masters-titles.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Pascal Lefrancois<\/strong><\/a> woke up in the big blind with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jc.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> and he reshoved for 8,608,652, forcing a fold from Gostisa. His tournament ended at the hands of Lefrancois. Pardo checked, Addamo bet 437,500 into 1,750,000 and instantly called when Pardo check-raised all for 2,114,614 in total. The <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ad.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> turn was followed by the <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/qs.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> river and Pardo busted.<\/p>\n<h2>Heads-Up Set; Addamo Running Hot<\/h2>\n<p>Addamo caught more than his fair share of favourable boards and found himself the chip leader with only three players remaining. He sent Lefrancois to the showers in third-place to all but tie up the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>With blinds at 250,000\/500,000\/62,500a, Addamo ripped it for 23,269,369 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/8h.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Gostisa folded his <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/6c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> in the small blind from a 4,816,464 stack, but Lefrancois called off his 10,476,667 with <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ah.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/jh.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\">. Addamo flopped trip nines and Lefrancois failed to catch up.<\/p>\n<p>This left Addamo with 34,183,536 chips to Gostisa\u2019s 4,816,464 and the writing was on the wall. Gostisa\u2019s chips went into the middle on the first hand of heads-up and Addamo called. It was <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/ac.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/5d.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> for Gostisa and <img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/kd.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/plugins\/handy-cards\/cards\/9c.gif\" class=\"handy-cards\" width=\"25\" height=\"15\"> for Addamo. Not only did he triumph in the Main Event, he also took down this tournament!<\/p>\n<p>This event paid $510,000 across the top six finishers. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/william-foxen-among-the-first-poker-master-online-championship.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Alex Foxen<\/strong><\/a> narrowly missed out on another High Roller Club score, falling in seventh for nothing more than the unwanted title of bubble boy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pascal Lefrancois<\/strong> finished in sixth and more than doubled his buy-in to $27,568. <strong>Juan Pardo<\/strong> joined Lefrancois on the rail, doing so with $35,700 more in his bankroll. Addamo fell in 13th place for $15,355, one place before Team partypoker\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/ludovic-geilich\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ludovic Geilich<\/strong><\/a> whose 12th place finished yielded an $18,468 prize.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Niklas Astedt<\/strong> and <strong>Wiktor Malinowski<\/strong>&#8216;s tournaments ended before Team Online\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/jordan-drummond\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jordan Drummond<\/strong><\/a> popped the final table bubble, the Canadian\u2019s ninth-place being worth $18,468 also.<\/p>\n<p>The first of two Finnish stars, <strong>Eelis Parssinen<\/strong>, was the final table\u2019s first casualty. He soon gained some company on the sidelines in the share of <strong>Mark Radoja<\/strong> and that man <strong>Pascal Lefrancois<\/strong>. Parssinen\u2019s fellow Finn, <strong>Sami Kelopuro<\/strong>, crashed out in fifth for $57,064 before <strong>Jans Arends<\/strong> saw his tournament conclude in fourth-place for $80,927.<\/p>\n<p>Our very own <strong>Kristen Bicknell<\/strong>\u2019s hopes of victory were dashed when she fell in third. It was a result worth $109,459, the first six-figure prize of the tournament. Bicknell\u2019s demise left former MILLIONS Online champion <strong>Jon Van Fleet<\/strong> and Hungary\u2019s <strong>Laszlo Bujtas<\/strong> to lock horns one-on-one.
