Some 50 players bought in for $102,000 by the time late registration closed, resulting in a $5 million prize pool!<\/p>\n<p>Only 13 of those starters made it through to Day 2 on June 2 and only seven of those will walk away with a share of that monster-sized prize pool.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/kanit-and-imsirovic-bank-another-poker-masters-title.html\"><strong>Ali Imsirovic<\/strong><\/a> is the man who leads those 13 players back into battle when play resumes at 20:00 CET on June 2. Imsirovic finished the night with a 2,226,009 stack and the title of chip leader. Imsirovic went on a late surge to pip <strong>David Peters<\/strong> to the overnight chip lead.<\/p>\n<p>Peters had led for most of the night and bagged up 2,107,400 chips when the curtain came down on Day 1\u2019s proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the 11 survivors read like a who\u2019s who of poker.<\/p>\n<p>Former MILLIONS Online champion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/jon-van-fleet-wins-5-million-guaranteed-millions-online-event.html\"><strong>Jon Van Fleet<\/strong><\/a> returns to the fray third in chips. This means finishing in eighth-place is going to be costly because <strong>the bubble is $212,500<\/strong>!
