Viktor Blom<\/strong>\u2019s incredible run of form in the Super High Roller Bowl Online series<\/strong> continued on May 28th with his second victory. The popular Swedish superstar has now won almost $990,000 in the space of three days.<\/p>\n

Blom won the eighth SHRB event for $213,750<\/a> and then finished as the runner-up to Dan Smith<\/strong> in the $25,500 SHRB #9 event for an additional $365,500. Now he\u2019s taken down a $25,500 event of his own for $407,500!<\/p>\n

Only three players made it through to Day 2 o this event from the 40 who started. The finishing positions were how the chip counts were at the start of play.<\/p>\n

David Peters<\/strong> was nursing a short stack so it was no surprise to see him fall in third-place. This added $165,000 to Peters\u2019 bankroll.<\/p>\n

Blom and Mike Watson<\/strong> played one-on-one poker to decide the champion. It was, of course, Blom who emerged from the fight victorious and with his hands on the $407,500 top prize. Watson walked away with $265,000 reasons to be cheerful.<\/p>\n

David Peters<\/strong> may not have staged an epic comeback in the SHRB event that Blom won, but he did secure the title of the $10,300 8-Max event that completed on the same night. Peters locked up the $217,000 top prize after sending Joao Vieira<\/strong> to the showers in second-place; Vieira banked $150,500.<\/p>\n

Only six players returned for Day 2. Our very own Kristen Bicknell<\/strong> busted in seventh-place at the end of Day 1.<\/p>\n

Latvia\u2019s Aleksejs Meless<\/strong> was the final table\u2019s first casualty and he was joined on the sidelines by Chris Hunichen<\/strong>. Matthias Eibinger<\/strong> fell in fourth for $63,000 with Justin Bonomo<\/strong> collecting $98,000 for his third-place exit. Bonomo won the $25,000 Super High Roller<\/a> on May 27 and scooped $622,634; he\u2019s another player in hot form.<\/p>\n

Canada\u2019s Mark Radoja<\/strong> became an SHRB champion when he triumphed over 59-opponents in the 15th event of the series. Radoja defeated Finnish high flier Pauli Ayras<\/strong> heads-up to win the $10,300 buy-in tournament.<\/p>\n

Eight players returned to the partypoker felt and they soon became seven when Timothy Adams<\/strong> crashed out. Chris Hunichen<\/strong> and Justin Bonomo<\/strong>\u2019s eliminations gave Adams some company on the rail, the latter adding another $34,500 to his SHRB winnings total.<\/p>\n

Russia Vyacheslav Buldygin<\/strong>\u2019s bust out left only four players in the hunt for the title, and what a four they were.<\/p>\n

Guillaume Nolet<\/strong> saw his tournament end in fourth place for $55,000. German legend Ole Schemion<\/strong>, playing from Austria, scooped $88,500 when he crashed out in third. This left Radoja and Ayras to butt heads and we already know how that panned out!<\/p>\n

Blom In The Hunt For More SHRB Titles<\/h2>\n

Blom is gunning for his third title in less than a week when play resumes on May 29. Blom is in the final nine of a $10,300 SHRB 6-Max event that restarts at 19:00 CET. Michael Addamo<\/strong> leads that one.<\/p>\n

The other $10,300 buy-in is also down to its last nine players. Selahaddin Bedir<\/strong> leads that one but our very own Anatoly Filatov<\/strong><\/a> is still in the mix.<\/p>\n
