This tournament had a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool but we awarded $750,000 to the top 11 finishers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seth Davies<\/strong> burst the bubble, paving the way for the likes of Team partypoker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/mikita-badziakouski-takes-down-50k-super-high-roller-series-event.html\"><strong>Mikita Badziakouski<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/2020-irish-open-victory-for-krashennikova-main-event-is-massive.html\"><strong>Rui Ferreira<\/strong><\/a>, and <strong>Justin Bonomo<\/strong> to cash, although falling short of the final table.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dan Smith<\/strong> was the first finalist to lose their chips. Smith was joined on the rail by <strong>Darrel Goh<\/strong>, Ireland\u2019s <strong>Mark Davis<\/strong>, and our very own <strong>Kristen Bicknell<\/strong>. Bicknell seems to have hit a patch of form and when great players do this massive results tend to follow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>George Wolff<\/strong> and <strong>Arnaud Enselme<\/strong> were the next two players to fall. This set up a heads-up battle between <strong>Christoph Vogelsang<\/strong> and <strong>Viktor Blom<\/strong>. It was Blom who was the last man standing, turning his $10,300 into $213,750 and leaving Vogelsang to collect the $146,250 runner-up prize.<\/p>\n<h2>Smith Wins $25,500 Event; Blom Second<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-86104\" src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/smith.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/smith-300x224@2x.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/smith-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Blom almost secured two SHRB titles in a single day but he fell short of glory in the <strong>SHRB #08 \u2013 Super High Roller: $1M Gtd 8-Max<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Some 68 players bought in and smashed the $1 million guaranteed by $700,000! This lead to a $55,250 min-cash for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/en\/linus-loeliger-wins-massive-poker-masters-main-event-for-1-1m.html\"><strong>Linus Loeliger<\/strong><\/a> after <strong>Wiktor Malinowski<\/strong> burst the money bubble when he crashed out in 10th place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Darrel Goh<\/strong> locked up his second cash of the evening, this one worth $63,750. Turkey\u2019s <strong>Orpen Kisacikoglu<\/strong> and <strong>Giuseppe Iadisernia<\/strong> were the next players to bust, the latter scooping $97,750 and narrowly missing out on a six-figure haul.<\/p>\n<p>Fifth-place and $119,000 went to <strong>Alex Foxen<\/strong> before British pro <strong>Simon Higgins<\/strong>, runner-up in the <strong>2020 Irish Open Online High Roller<\/strong>, busted in fourth for $153,000.<\/p>\n<p>Russian sensation <strong>Artur Martirosian<\/strong> continued his purple patch with a $238,000 prize for finishing third, which left Blom and <strong>Dan Smith<\/strong> to lock horns heads-up for the title.<\/p>\n<p>Blom couldn\u2019t repeat his heroics from the earlier event and had to settle for the $365,500 consolation prize. Smith walked away with the title and a cool $527,000 in cold, hard cash.<\/p>\n<h2>Gieles Wins; Badziakouski Reaches another FT<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-86110\" src=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/luuk.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"447\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/luuk-300x224@2x.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/luuk-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partypoker.com\/en\/p\/team-partypoker\/nikita-bodyakovskiy\"><strong>Mikita Badziakouski<\/strong><\/a> reached another final table, but didn\u2019t really get going. The Team partypoker star crashed out in seventh place for $36,000 after Ireland\u2019s <strong>John O\u2019Shea<\/strong> netted $31,500 for an eighth place exit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jon Van Fleet<\/strong> cashed again, doing so in sixth place, before <strong>Mark Radoja<\/strong> and <strong>Pascal Hartmann<\/strong> fell by the wayside. <strong>Ali Imsirovic<\/strong> was the third-place finisher, a result that banked him $117,000 before Netherlands\u2019 <strong>Luuk Gieles<\/strong> defeated <strong>George Wolff<\/strong> heads-up for the title and the $234,000 top prize; Wolff won $166,500 for his second-place exit.<\/p>\n<h2>SHRB Continues on May 27<\/h2>\n<p>Three more events crown their champions on May 27. There is a brace of $10,300 6-max events and a $25,500 6-Max affair.<\/p>\n<p>The $25,500 event is down to its final eight players and <strong>Matthias Eibinger<\/strong> leads the race for the $622,634 top prize. It looks like he could \u201cdo a Blom\u201d and have a super time at the partypoker tables.
